There are quite a few Easter Eggs to look out for. Like a particular name drop or two, and the mid credits stinger.

Funny thing about Herr Strucker having Loki's spear (and possible Infinity some?) and apparently being one of if not the (Supreme) Hydra top muckamuck. I was kind of relieved that Pierce didn't turn out to be a resurrected Red Skull...but what if the plan is for this version of Strucker to actually be a renamed Johann Schmidt, rescued and repurposed by Thanos much like he did with Loki?[Face_thinking]

 

He's obviously The Watcher, duh.

 

Hopefully seeing this on Thursday along with Grand Budapest.

It's too early for that. You're best bet won't be until the DVD and Blu-Ray release.

 

The One Above All! Hasn't he appeared in the form of Stan Lee before in the comics?

 

Having gotten recently interested in the current Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel runs (the latter so much so that I'm considering buying them as the first monthly comic I'll follow), I wonder about possible MCU adaptation.

What worries me is Marvel's tendency to alter their series in order to better line up with their movies and whatnot. If a Ms. Marvel movie is to be made, would they make Carol Danvers take back the mantle, or would they just go make Carol start out as Captain Marvel in the movies?

A Kamala Khan series I think could work out on Netflix assuming the Defenders and its own members' solo series work out.

Kevin Feige has said that a Captain Marvel movie with Carol Danvers at the forefront is a possibility. I think the only issue would be trying to make sure that people won't confuse Captain Marvel with Captain America.

Never underestimate the massive amount of astounding stupidity out there, Peng. I mean, if we actually have honest-to-goodness geocentrists in our midst, well, anything is truly possible.

 

Though I'm pretty sure there will indeed be some stupid people who think as such, they might initially think of her as some foil or spinoff of Steve Rogers simply because of "Captain".

But I hope it'll be a non-issue. Ff they make a Carol Danvers movie with her as Captain Marvel at the get-go, what reason could she have for even being a Captain? Same as Steve Rogers, except as a Captain in the modern-day US army or Air Force?

 

Is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. getting renewed?

 

I recall reading here that someone once thought Anakin Skywalker was Luke Skywalker, as a kid, back when TPM came out.

 

Weren't people pissed off when they were told in advance that the Titanic sinks?

 

I would have. There was also another one where someone asked where was Batman in "The Avengers".

 

For the centennial of the sinking I remember Twitter blew up with people saying "The Titanic was real?! Omg why didn't anyone tell me?"
