Discussions Your most underrated Star Wars EU character?

I really disliked how Ostrander included Tholme's girlfriend and K'kruhk in Legacy, but I didn't mind learning that Tholme had died. It didn't really give details about his death and poor Tholme was a human so it makes sense that he would have died sometime. I like to imagine that he aided the Rebel cause during the Dark Times by continuing his covert ops against the Empire.

 

Talon Karrde could get some more love. Smuggler, yet honest man, struggling to maintain neutrality while being dragged into the war, supporting the New Republic.

 

Was he even at Mara's funeral? I think he was at Luke's exile in Outcast.

 

Shadow Trooper: Then, what do you think about A'Sharad Hett being included in Legacy?

 

I don't like Krayt at all. Finding out he was Hett was rather disappointing. My biggest problem with Legacy was that both the main Protagonist and Antagonist were underwhelming. I generally disliked all the One Sith characters and Cade Skywalker, but the supporting cast in Legacy was really great. On the other hand, Gar Stazi, Wolf Sazen and some of the Imperial Knights (Emperor Fel,Tries Sinde, Azlyn Rae) are all excellent characters. In my opinion, it was these side characters and their stories which made the Legacy comics great. I couldn't care less about Cade and Krayt, but I was always anticipating another issue in the Gar Stazi subplot.

I also very much liked dark side Sora Bulq.

 

Lusa. She was the best damned thing in the Crystal Star, was pretty good in the also-underrated Young Jedi Knights series... and then was killed off in Star by Star. And I think her death pissed me off WAY more than Anakin Solo's did.

I think my most underated character is the blind Jedi Master Zao:

 

I love Zao, and I too think he is a bit underrated. One other character that I find underrated as well is Bomo Greenbark. When most think about the Dark Times comics, most consider Dass Jennir to be the main character, however when I look at the first few Dark Times arcs, Bomo is equally important as Dass.

 

Absolutely! He's a really well developed character with a critical story role and yet I always think of Jennir as teh main character whereas, as you say, Bomo is at least as important.

I've always enjoyed the Azzameen family story. I wish they made a few more appearances.
