I second the Cracklink - er, Bricklink recommendation. I'd post some stuff here but I don't keep any sets as sets - that's not what Lego is for!
Not a single one? Do you really dislike the set designs that much? I for one like the majority of the offical lego SW sets, so i wont destroy them if i dont need too
I assume Sarchet was trying to say that lego sets aren't meant to be sitting on your shelf and collecting dust. It's still primarily a toy and if you're an adult, 90% of the fun is in the building process. The big collector sets can be nice ornaments or decorative pieces, but most normal sets will probably never give you the same amount of joy to children playing with it. That's my view at least, but I'm more of a minimalist now when it comes to these things. Me and my brother used to have tons of lego in our youth, but that money goes to different things now. If I had unlimited funds, I'd undoubtedly still buy some lego sets, but I definitely wouldn't leave them assembled for long. How about this for a model though? Here's the whole album.
If thats what he meant, i agree. Man, people that are able to create moc´s like this are incredible, i envy them.
Indeed, what I meant is that to me, Lego is meant to be taken apart and rebuilt, not sit on a shelf as a set. And indeed, after a while seeing others models and building my own, it's rare that a set satisfies me.
