Nice, Yalmak. I'm hooked. Can't wait to see what you do next.

I'm interested in learning more of the backstory behind Valen Ssurd/Darth Falcor. That's your decision, of course, whether you want to add anything else about him.

I guess KK or jhc will go next.

Meh. I couldn't care less about football.

Right now I'm playing Zelda games endlessly. I beat the Ocarina of Time Master Quest with only 3 heart containers, and my death counter is zero. My used fairy and Nayru's Love usage counters are too high for rational numbers. OOT Master Quest is the uber-game.

I'm trying to do the same thing with The Wind Waker right now. I'm not expecting to have an easy time of it, though. Ganondorf nearly annihilated me at the end of OOT Master Quest. The threats later in the game aren't that hard with a fully powered-up Link, but with 3 heart containers? I'm going to need Magic Armor, Elixir Soup, and a whole boatload of fairies to bail me out.

Thought: After playing KOTOR and the Jedi Knight series, wouldn't it be cool if, instead of being the hero and saving the world in Zelda, you could be Ganondorf, or the Hero gone bad somehow, and conquer the planet? That'd be sweet.

Maybe I'd even get to kill that annoying bastard Ingo.

Just a side note- we're going to say that Shimrra was the one implanted with yammosk cells, and Onimi was simply a Shamed One. That and the fact that we disregard anything after Force Heretic III should make us set. ;) :)

Sector Khattazz, Royal Palace, Audience Chamber

    [ul]Nom Anor

"Do'ro-ik vong pratte!" Nom Anor yelled into the chamber, the sound bellowing from the top of his lungs.

"Do'ro-ik vong pratte!" came the reply, a huge wave of sound that nearly knocked Nom Anor off of his feet.

Thousands of his new elites stood before him- thousands of his slayers, of his Jedi- shouting in unison, their war crys reverberating off of the yorik coral walls like sparks from one of the infidels' lightsabers.

A fitting thought, as the next move Nom Anor made was to pull out the lightsaber of the Jedi Anakin Solo, who had perished on the worlship at Myrkr years ago. Shimrra had kept it during his reign, and it had stayed hidden in the bowls of his landing ship throughout the reign of Otto. Khattazz had found it once he took the throne, but it remained untouched until one of Nom Anor's Shamed Ones uncovered.

Now the violet blade was a sign of all the Galactic Alliance stood for, and Nom Anor threw the blade around in ignorance, finally shutting it off and throwing it to the side for one of his Shamed workers to retrieve latter.

The slayers, Nom Anor's Jedi, swayed back and forth in glee, their shouts and war cries growing louder by the second, making the shapers inside fear the palace roof was going to collapse.

Then, grabbing his amphistaff in his hand, Nom Anor yelled again as loud as his vocal cords could handle, thrusting the tip of his weapon into the air. The slayers issued their loudest scream yet and leaped in anticipation. At Nom Anor's order they rushed from the Audience Chamber and out into the wild jungles and wreckage of Yuuzhan'tar, determined to destroy everything Imperial in their path...

Nom smiled as he sat back in his throne, and his army of elite warriors- as well as the leaders of all of his army units both active and inactive- entered the audience chamber, lead by none other than Yom Yorrik, newly elevated to Warmaster. He issued orders to them all, commanding them to fortify their front lines and protect their resource stations and supply fields.

Via villip transmission Supreme Commander Nas Choka gathered his massive fleet, nearly a third more than either of the infidel fleets in orbit, and began moving to attack the Imperials' meager fleet.

At the same time Commander Ju Choka began moving his fleet atmospherically, determined to bomb every last Imperial possession and building they could find.

As the audience chamber became empty again and the army commanders and elites filed out, Nom Anor walked to the edge of his dais and looked out upon the fields and jungles of Yuuzhan'tar.

It was time that the Empire- and everyone else, infidel and Yuuzhan Vong alike- learned that if you were not with Nom Anor, you were against him.

And if you were against Nom Anor, you were as good as dead.

The day was on the threshold of war, and Nom Anor smiled as his ears were filled with the drum beats over the horizon...[/ul]

[hl=blue]Ken Kenobi- And you have a nice day ;)[/hl]

We haven't really disregarded everything after FH3. I know that's what we set out to do, but in practice, it just seems to me like we've incorporated more than our share of material from TUF.

I'd actually already thought of ways to make it work with TFP and TUF, but they're not necessary to put in a story post. They're just for my peace of mind.

Regarding that last post...prepare thyself. Heehee....

Though I suppose there are other players here who have as much right to be saying that as I do.

*he had been drugged....he knew that much. how, was a totally different question altogether. He didn't know why, but somehow the whole ordeal pointed to that shaped jeedai. The towering, Dread Warmaster stood up. The biological organisms that had implanted the drugs...proved futile. The were not powerful enough to inflict serious damage.*

*glancing around his confines, he regarded the closed sphincter with contempt...who shall hold me here? who deemed me worthless of this weak barrier? the shamed shaper will pay...with her useless life!*

*Without armour and armed only with the small coufee the shamed one had held during freeing him, al'Yammka advanced upon the only way out.

"Do'ro-ik vong pratte!!! he bellowed before charging through the sphincter.

?The gifts I have given you and the power you now possess, Yalmak, these things will make you an outsider to the rest of the galaxy. You are no longer simply Yuuzhan Vong, nor are you a citizen of the galactic alliance. You have become something greater. You are the weapon of vengeance; you are the seed of chaos, it is almost time for you to go forth into the galaxy and exact your vengeance and spread chaos through out the worlds you visit. You are a truly unique being something the universe will never be able to accept. Before you depart there are many things that I should share with you.?

6,000 years ago I had a vision from the force. I fore saw the rise of palpatine and the fall of Anakin Skywalker. I foresaw the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and your potential to the greatest of the Sith Lords. That is why I exiled myself to this remote world for so long and now you have come to fulfill this vision. While your were being reintroduced to the force I took the liberty of Scouring your mind. I have seen the extensive training that you put yourself through learning how to operate the machines of your enemies even though it went against your very nature. I have seen the time you have spent to learn the basics of all of the Yuuzhan Vong castes. From your knowledge of Yuuzhan Vong Shaping I learned much. I have ceated these for you.?

The ancient Sith Lord reached into his robes and pulled out two, foot long Yorrick Coral cylinders. Yalmak took the cylinders from Darth Falcor. Holding one in each hand Yalmak Scur ignited his new lightsabers. The Deep crimson blades cast a strangely disconcerting light around the room.

?A greater gift could not have been given to me my master.?

?Your training with me is complete for now go forth Yalmak Scur and exact some of the vengeance you seek. I shall be awaitng your return. We still have training to complete.?

Yalmak?s X-wing reverted from hyperspace well outside GFFA controlled space around Yuuzhan?tar.

Quickly he surveyed the forces amassed in the system. No one ever said exacting his revenge would be easy. Then something strange happened something he should have suspected but didn?t. He felt the three pilots of the A-wing patrol before his scanners ever picked them up. Yalmak laughed to himself as the lead A-wing pilot hailed him.

?Unidentified pilot you are in control of a stolen GFFA starfighter. Power down your weapons and shields we will escort you to The Cathedral of Winds.?

Yalmak did as he was instructed. He powered down his Shields and weapons. Then he reached out through the force and crushed the trio of snub-fighters. The power that flowed through Yalmak begged for more.
Yalmak set a course for the darkside of Yuuzhan?tar and jumped to the very edge of the planets gravity well. He set down his X-wing deep in the jungle well away from the highly contested areas of Yuuzhan?tar.

Mean while on the Cathedral of Winds. Luke sat in quiet meditation with Jacen, Mara, and [bKyp. The 4 Jedi snapped out of their meditation at almost the exact moment.
?Tell me I?m not the only one who felt that.? Kyp?s voice quivered with uncertainty.
?I felt it also.? Was the reply from Mara.
Luke slowly looked to each of the gathered Jedi he took a deep breath.
?Something truly evil has entered this system.

As al'Yammka left the room, I felt it.

A terrible darkness, neither Yuuzhan Vong nor human nor any other race. It was simply...evil. And it had come to exact vengeance.

I reached out through the Force, reaching for my Master. Kyle felt my call, and opened a mental dialogue with me.

"Kyle! Something very bad is happening...on more fronts than one, I suspect."

"Yeah, I know. I've felt it, too. So have Luke, Mara and Kyp. They're all with me on the
    Cathedral of Winds."

    "Well, what's happening?"

"A bunch of Yuuzhan Vong ships have just come out of hiding. Some of them are trying to engage us. We've sent for 5 Star Cruisers from Bilbringi, but I don't know how long they'll take to get here."

"What? Yuuzhan Vong ships? Why? How? Or, a better question, how many?"

"Not many large cruisers, that I can assure you of. Mostly a multitude of smaller ships. But it's big. Somebody's making a play for power. My money's on Nom Anor."

    "Yeah, sounds like him."

    "Where are you now?"

"Underneath some kind of shaper damutek. I'm tracking al'Yammka--or I thought I was. I may just have to abandon the search and go help."

"No. We'll handle it from up here. I think we can hold them off until reinforcements get here. Then we can find out who sent them--though the Jedi Council shares my sentiments as to who's responsible. Your best bet is to stay there and find out what that Warmaster's doing. You'll probably run into something helpful along the way. Besides...I sense that this is part of your destiny. Do you remember when you came to the Yuuzhan Vong, seeking answers as to why you existed?"

"Yeah...a lot of those questions are still there."

"Well, it's about time they get answered. I'm not about to let you destroy your destiny for something we can resolve up here."

"You sure about this? I don't want you to be screwed if they pull something else out of their hats."

"I won't be. You know me. Jan'll bail me out."

"I sure hope so. May the Force be with you, Kyle."

    "And with you, Kirian."

    ---------------------------------------

I slowly followed al'Yammka out of the room, being careful not to be noticed.

I just hoped I didn't run into anything terrible along the way.

It does not matter if Nom Anor is behind these new attacks or not. Given his reputation and past actions, and the fact that he now controls a majority of all the Yuuzhan Vong forces. The GFFA are going to logically assume that he is behind these attacks. Until it is proven that he is not it would be the GFFA's most logical path of reasoning.

Nom is moving to attack against the Empire at the moment, but soon enough the GFFA will fall... [face_devil]

Anyways, what do you guys think about moving the Yuuzhan'tar RP to the Roleplaying Forum? Not only will it give us more freedom in the way of roleplaying, but also more members to play around with... [face_mischief] I've already got a title post worked up, so if it's agreed it's go time. ;) :D

Outside Royal Palace, Sector Khattazz, Yuuzhan'tar surface

    [ul]Nom Anor

Nom Anor smirked, his real teeth shining through the Supreme Overlord masquer he had worn for so long, and continued to wear, if only to make himself look more menacing, and keep up the facade to his warriors that he was above them somehow, a temptation for them to strike him but a defensive layer to keep those who would actually try at bay.

He had opted not to keep using the multi-colored eye implants, however- using those meant he had to take out his plaeryin bol, which as of late he didn't feel comfortable with. Opening hostilities with the Empire made it so he had to watch his back again, and the plaeryin bol gave him that much more protection if any of the enemy tried to murder him.

Not that they would, of course- even if they regrouped after the massive attack enough to attempt such a thing, they wouldn't get past but the first few layers of the elaborate fortress that his palace had become in the last klekket or so. The shell of yorik coral above him was so thick that even the threat of a slagging from above was reduced, Nom Anor going as far as to say that no turbolaser of any ship, Imperial, GFFA, or otherwise, would be able to penetrate his wall hardened, calcium-enriched coral.

Now the battle had begun, the sun just arising from Yuuzhan'tar's horizon, the jungle silent save for the wildlife just awaking from their night's sleep.

Lifting the oggzil to his mouth, Nom began speaking. The villip-cousin that had been bred to broadcast on infidel transmissions was set to every comm channel on Yuuzhan'tar, Imperial and GFFA, and throughout the galaxy as a whole. It was time to address the issue at hand.

"Harboring the enemy," he began, his sharp teeth slashing as the words left the scarred lips of the masquer, "is a crime punishable by death amongst the Yuuzhan Vong. And yet, the enemy in this sense is not those we once called infidels, those native to this galaxy- no, the enemy I speak of here is our own kind, the Yuuzhan Vong rebels that failed to accept the truth, and decided that ignorance and blind sacrifice was a better path than accepting what was right.

"With the help of those within the Galactic Alliance, we had hoped the Yuuzhan Vong rebels were stopped, and in turn achieve the truth that had been revealed to us after emerging from the shadows of our deceitful predecessors.

"But alas, the Yuuzhan Vong must have overestimated those we called 'allies', for when the Empire split from the ranks of the Galactic Alliance, and began allying itelf with the Yuuzhan Vong resistance and their blasphemous leader in al'Yammka, instead of attempting to help us, the Alliance betrayed our trust and turned their loyalty elswhere!"

Nom Anor growled, showing his teeth in disgust.

"We allow you presence on our sacred world of Yuuzhan'tar, which we rightfully won from you in battle, and you assumed that privelage as a right. Well, assume no more!"

Nom's voice grew in volume as he continued, his vocal cords bellowing out each word as if they were his last.

"Today we shall see who is truly running this show. Today we shall see why the Yuuzhan Vong own this world! Today we shall see the opening of hostilities against your kind! Today we shall see the purging of those who stand against us! Today we shall see the fall of an Empire, and the rise of a new truth! The truth of the Yuuzhan Vong!

"If you do not stand for that truth, you are not Yuuzhan Vong at all, but infidel. And today we shall see the end of the infidels! Do'ro-ik vong pratte! Death to our enemies

I support this. KK's right--it will give us more people to play around with.

However, to draw people in, they'd have to know what's going on on Yuuzhan'tar. I suggest posting a history of Yuuzhan'tar in the title post--something that makes it seem like the RP is a new part of a great saga. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to just jump in in the middle. You could start with Otto's reign, and go from there, all the way up to where we are now.

    How does that sound?

i think it would be ok. just as long as the story does not change at all. That the newcomers know what had gone on on Yuuzhan'tar, and what exactly is currently going on. why dont you post a couple of job titles that we need, and have people apply for them. maybe we need another yuuzhan vong warrior, or a GFFA Captain, or a imperial stormtrooper, etc... i think if we post something like that then we have some kind of organization to the sudden switch.

we mustn't forget the few who frequent the thread to read our posts....(darthnoll, darth_dispicable, and dark_jedi_tam) to just name a couple. they should know where to go to follow up with the ongoing saga. [face_devil] I enjoy the way IBOP runs things....but ours is much smaller and i do not want to run something that big. so as long as it remains one thread in the RPForum then i'm go.

oh yeah one thing....this thread must never die because of the sudden transition.

    Hidden Damutek, Western Mountains

He watched as the 'magician' walked away. He knew something was definately amiss with the 'human', but he just couldnt place it. So it was of no surpise to him when he heard the uproar from deep inside the organic compound. From outside it sounded ungodly, must be from the way it echoes inside, he thought. His comlink beeped.....

"Sir! Sir! Please respond! Help, Sir. This is Lieutenant Pakins from Imperial....Coum...nd.....Two-A....vong attacking....they're.....'where....", static followed.

His grim face displayed no emtion. He knew everyone was dead, he was not going to even bother sending a response. It was a small outpost...probably just some smaller cells that hadn't been dealt with. Now back to that hellrific screaming... he was jarred back into reality with intense screaming...

"Admiral Dron, this is Outpost Ratnis 4....we are experiencing heavy casulties! Sir, these are fully trained warriors. There are even some elite's that seem to be impenetrable!! We dont expect to withstand the attack, we just know that they are indeed heading to the main base! Sir, my dying words will mark my duty to the Empire. The Empire will always be in control!", the resulting transmission consisted of screaming and the slurping sound of gutted bodies being stabbed through.

Well, this is definately not going to be a good day. Why in hell did these disgusting creatures ever decide to pick this galaxy?! Damn, I'd rather face a hundred 'magicians with their magic swords' then face these scarheads!

He put the comlink to his mouth, "This is Admiral Nev Dron. Khattazz is apparently relinquishing his peace accord...", he was interrupted by the reciever.
'Yes sir, we've already heard. The Supreme Overlord has proclaimed that we are infidels and therefore to be sentenced to a disgraceful death."
Well...that's just wonderful. Go figure...yeah, I truly hate this planet.

"Command the Hybrid to lift off. I want 100,000 troops on board that ship. They are to be deployed into the main fray, launch all ATAT's and ATST's, concentrate all turbolaser batteries on the main battle. Make sure that you fry every scarhead you see! I wa-....."

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a few of his stormtroopers stagger. what the h.. They were headless...or he thought that's what all that red goo was signifying. Then he saw him...or it, he never knew for sure what it truly was. The immense vong was standing over a crumpled mass of bodies....indiscernable quantities...holding what looked like the shamed shaper. Except it was not what Nev remembered her as...no not all. The former Supreme Overlord was holding her, or seemed to be holding her. He was actually holding her through her body. One significantly larger arm had pierced her...but not through her....then it hit him. He was holding her by her own spine....but only his claws were inside her holding her aloft his deeply scarred head. A soft crack and the shaper cracked in half...her vertebrate snapping easily...death came slowly as her dying gasps wheezed into the blackness.

"...Commander...have Hybrid pick us up...and make it fast!"

He hoped his message made it through clearly enough, the sudden eruption of hell brought on by his troops were deafening...

jhc: Don't worry- it'll all stay in one thread. ;) :)

Alright, just to start off because so far we do have a unanimous and only Yalmak remains, I think we ought to come up with some ballpark figures as to what each faction has in the way of military.

Obviously each of us will be controlling our own faction: myself controlling the Yuuzhan Vong, alpha controlling (as an NPC) the GFFA/Jedi, jhc controlling the rebellion, and Nev_Dron controlling (also as an NPC, since I assume Pellaeon is still alive) the Empire, but I'm not sure if Yalmak belongs to any faction at the moment.

I'll try to get my own figures up soon. ;) :)

Anyways, one problem we might run into is trying to focus the storyline on the planet Yuuzhan'tar, despite the fact that the rest of the galaxy is still out there. After the peace accord most was settled, since the only "important" things happened on Yuuzhan'tar, but now that we're at war again...well...to be realistic, Yuuzhan'tar would be but one battlefield fought on.

I have two ideas so far, the first being that all of the Yuuzhan Vong forces and fleets have pulled back and are focusing on preserving Yuuzhan'tar, and the second being that we've already taken the majority of the galaxy and only nearby worlds (Bilbringi, Fondor, etc.) remain to the GFFA/Empire.

    Any other ideas? :)

I'd go with your first idea, KK.

As for Yalmak, he controls Darth Falcor as an NPC, so I guess that means he controls the Sith. The ones who don't control whole factions--myself, Nev_Dron, and Yalmak--should probably try to limit our NPC characters to a set number. I can't control the entire Alliance, and Nev can't control the whole Empire. At most, I control a select few Jedi as NPCs--mostly Kyle and Luke, and occasionally Mara. Nev has the Imperial base commander that he controls, but he is also an Admiral in the Imperial fleet, and so he has a sizable number of troops and TIE fighters, as well as a Star Destroyer, at his beck and call.
