Heh. At this point, Allston and Denning are simply playing tennis with this whole thing, batting it between each other, while Traviss is off on the sidelines, talking about how much she loves the Mandalorians.

 

Given all the talk about the debatable sexuality of certain Mandalorians does this mean Traviss is in fact going to take over in Revelation once Denning/Allston get Jaina to kick both of them to the curb and the Jag and Zekk storyline begins

Strangely enough, I'm wondering why nobody has written a fanfic about that yet.

Well, I'll give you credit for trying, at least. And now that you mention it, Jag probably would be the most likely to turn into a homophobe. Probably because of his Imperial and Chiss upbringing.

Oh well, what can you do?

 

It still irks me somewhat that Jaina's choice is limited to two (three at a push) men, you'd think she was stuck in remote village not a galaxy full of sentient beings. However, as there is clearly a horrendous shortage of eligible partners (and it's too late into LotF to introduce anyone new), I'll cast my vote for Jag. Partly because I thought they complemented each other well in the NJO (and they still have an interesting effect on each other) and partly because until recently they haven't developed post-YJK Zekk enough to make him interesting to me.

So even if neither Zekk nor Jag get the girl they still end up as in-laws?! That's fantastic! Personally, I don't like loose ends so Jag/Tenel Ka and Zekk/Tahiri would be interesting.

 

I just read a fanfic which shows Jag's possible thoughts during Exile. In that fic, it states that he does not want Jaina's affections any more, and he only flirts with her, and competes with Zekk because he wishes to connect with somebody again. And that after Alema is dealt with, he will go off and never see them again.

It's just a fanfic, but still, we don't REALLY know what Jag is thinking, do we? He could very well be thinking this, couldn't he?

Besides, if he and Jaina don't get back together, they still need some closure, don't they?

 

Maybe Jaina does need to remain single, or be with a new guy. In which case, the name of this thread should probably be "Neither Zekk or Jagged?"
