I like this thread.

 

I just saw a video with a 16 year old kid who spoke in 20 different languages, including my native Persian. Granted, he spoke it with a horrible accent, but who cares? He has enough vocabulary to carry a casual conversation in 20 languages! Why am I mentioning this? Because we could all be learning 20 languages, and instead we're wasting our time posting here! How many of us here even speak 3 languages, let alone 20? You have my pledge right away, sir!

Disclaimer: The likelihood of me using this extra time to learn a new language is non-existent, and I will probably use it to play videogames.

seems kinda hypocritical, you asking people to take a pledge that you won't take yourself.

 

i dont need to. its like having a pledge to cut down on noise pollution and expecting mozart to sign that ****
