I don't really have a ''least favorite'' character. I personally don't really hate any of them, and I think they all served their importance to the films, even Jar Jar.

Fodesinbeed, can't understand half the things he's saying and the other half is Greg Proops talking about podracing, that's more than enough for me to despise him...or them.

 

Mace Windu.

I don't find the appeal that many people do.

Well, since we're in the OT forum, I'll stick to OT characters.

I've always hated the dancers in Jabba's palace. I have mixed feelings for Salacious Crumb.

 

In the OT? Boba Fett. Overrated and ultimately died like the punk he was.

In the PT? Boss Nass.

Among the OT big 3? Han.

Among the PT big 3? Padme (I actually prefer Amidala).

 

The Ice Cream Man. He never gave any ice cream to anyone. Just kept it all to himself.

It must be Anakin Skywalker ... The character with poor judgment was as dumb as a mule ... Which part of Dark Side didn't he understand ... I'd like to ask

This was my problem with Grievous. There was a scene in the Clone Wars where he's training with Dooku and he switches to an unorthodox fighting style. It was so visually striking and interesting. Couldn't wait to see it in action. Then in the ROTS...he spun his arms around.

TPM: Jar Jar. Too much of him, now I like him in AOTC

ROTS: Grevious, because everytime I watch, I think back to CW and think how awesome he was then and then we got this guy.

I may get some hate for these next few... *hides!*

ESB: I do not like Yoda in his first few scenes.

OT: I don't really dislike any of the characters that have more than 2 lines of dialogue.

 

I've never meant someone in person who hated Han Solo, only people on the internet.

 

Jar-Jar and Jabba, pretty much. Although I didn't much like Anakin or Padmé either - I felt they were quite irrational and not too well-written. I think Anakin should have had better reasons for turning to the Dark Side; the classic trilogy implies that he was actually a likeable man and a good friend. And I think Padmé should have been a stronger character, more like Leia, with a better reason for dying; the classic trilogy also seems to imply that.

General Grievous

 

Fully agree, though there was a reason for that; the animators were given concept art and had Grievous explained to them, but vaguely. They were told he 'wields 4 lightsabers' and were only shown images of him with two arms, so they assumed that he must use his feet-claws. So they based his whole fighting style on this, made him this imposing robo-ninja-ape bad-ass. Limitations breed creativity, they say.
