Yeah, I think it's extremely silly, and I have OCD when it comes to continuity in television and movies relating to characters.

 

Is it really that big a deal? So far Tommen's only ever been in the background, can't say I have the faintest recollection of him.

Eh, as a book reader the ages of characters on the show I think was better than the books. I just had a hard time accepting so many 12-`15 year olds running everything. This is not Naboo.

So adding 2-3 years to their ages was an improvement in my view.

 

This isn't a minor age difference. A 15-year-old Tommen is nearly twice the age of his book counterpart and would (or should, but they might just ignore it) have a profound effect on his character.

 

At least the new Tommen looks similar enough to the old one. Not like, say, Ser Gregor.

 

Is it the actor that's 15 or are the changing Tommen's age to 15? Cause lots of actors play characters younger than they are. I'd wager they are going for Tommen to be a 12-13 year old on the show now.

The role will probably expand and it might just be that the original, younger T isn't up to the task (he's only stood around so far).
