Calgary Stampede Kids Day Wednesday July 9th

Date: Wednesday July 9th Yes I know its a weekday.
Where: Stampede Park Grand Stand
Time: 7/7:30 am till about 10am
Who: Costumed Members of the Fan Force.

Outline of how it works
7-7:30 Arrive - Thanks You breakfast provided for all costume members
7:30-8 Change into costume.
8-10 Entertain and mingle with the kids as they line up for their pancake breakfast.


We will also need 1 or 2 people out of costume to help us out and take pictures.

Please post if you can make it.
This is one of the best events we do throughout the year as the kids just love it.

You should be there at the beginning. That way if anybody needs help suiting up your there as well.

i believe the grandstand but knowing the stamped board it mite not be in the location as last year which was the bar on the center south side

 

Is this an all-day event, or just the morning, or what? I'm expecting that I'll have to work, but the office is pretty close to the Stampede grounds.

 

just the morning till a bit after 10am. yes we meet in the grandstand.

Peter. There is no charge to get in as we are there before the park opens. I should might be able to get you in the morning. Are you going to ESB on Saturday night. we can talk then. I'll know for sure if I can or not.

Where are people parking (I'm talking to those that are driving, not riding) this year? Last year I parked at the north end and had about a 10 minutes walk (run). Was that still roughly the closest, since most of the grounds are closed off for the Stampede?
