Chic, IL CF Picnic & Star Wars Movie Marathon

Dear Fellow Fans,
On July 9th join Chicago Force for our Annual Summer Picnic (OK it's another BBQ). This will also be my farewell and thank you to all of my friends in the Force as I will be departing for my new home in Austin, Texas shortly thereafter. So, I hope everyone who's been a part of Chicago Force, new and old can make it out.

Where: 3521 S. Damen Ave. Chicago
Date: Saturday, July 9th
Movies Start: 12:00 Noon
Food: Probably during Attack of the Clones (see below)
What: Fun, games, food, prizes, movies, keg.
Parking: Street (but relatively easy to find)
CTA: 5 minute walk from the 35th & Archer stop on the Orange Line
Bring: Please bring a prepared food item to share with the rest. BTW, there's a Jewel right next to the El Stop on Archer if you want to wait till the last minute.

I should see if I can get my PVR hooked up to my PC to burn a Clone Wars DVD for then (could always do VHS too)

It's great that you'll be coming, Jedi Dajuan. I met you briefly when I was running the trivia board game at Celebration at Celebration III. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk with you later during the con.

Dave, I notice that the Austin group has Miniatures nights. I think it's time you introduced them to your special rules.

Dude are you off today?

 

No, my house rules are, you take a shot for every 20 points you lose (you start with 100 in most games), so the loser/s end up taking 5 shots. Games last about an hour, so it's a good pace...though if you lose a Vader or a Yoda...you might as well line a few up.

I'm definitely attending and once again will be "the guy who brought the Guinness."

 

Lilli and I have started playing 200-pt. games, so I don't know if I'd want to use those rules in those situations.

Bosh is a nurse, it's shots of gamma globulin, so it isn't nearly as fun as you think. But you will be suprising resitant to Hep A.
