JCC Name the future queen of Sweden

You know, of course, that Arsinoë is a Macedonian name, right?

 

And the name was announced as: Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary. Estelle is a really rare name, and with no royal traditions so of course some people are really upset that we are going to have a queen Estelle I in the future.

 

Yes, eventhough we seem to be a bit inconsistent with the number 1:s. For example most queens go without numbers, except for Margareta who is called Margareta I, even if Margrethe II is just queen in Denmark. On the male side the most common name (Karl) goes down to medieaval miscalculations and viking sagas, so they don't really exist, same goes for Erik. The first Gustav is used with his first and family name, except for some official things where he seems to be up as Gustav I.

I guess it's up for future historians to decide, and who knows maybe she starts a trend and we will have a bunch of Queen Estelles.
