I went with angel food cake. Other kinds have sometimes let me down cake to cake, but angel food is a consistent success.

 

Chocolate cake, especially chocolate rum cake. My mom always makes me one for my birthday.

German chocolate is best and second would be coffee cake.

I love every form of cake (yes, even carrot cake), but I just had to vote chocolate. You know what's really good? Chocolate zucchini cake. And before you make that face I know you're making, you don't even taste the zucchini and it makes the cake even moister and let's it have better texture.

Cheesecake is also awesome, as is strawberry short cake, mousse cake, ice cream cake, lamingtons... yeah, every kind of cake is sweet.

There are so many choices within the Chocolate category alone that I can't decide.... there are others choices outside of that which are also divine too.
