What eras do you want to see the most and witch one do you think would proved for the best stories.

 

The early conflicts of Jedi and Pre Rule of two Sith during the old republic.

 

Yep. Ditto.

 

Post-ROTJ Galactic Civil War, Old Republic, pre-TPM

 

Post ROTJ or Post ST would be interesting to see.

 

I think the best stories would come from the Galactic Civil War Era, between Episodes IV and V. It's an era I think is rife with possibilities, considering it's a period when the Empire finally started paying attention to how big a threat the Rebel Alliance is post-Death Star.

 

The period of time between TPM and AOTC detailing Anakin's training and the early relationship that he had with Obi-Wan

 

I'm pretty psyched for the era they're gonna give us in the ST, to be honest.

 

I would like at least one pre TPM movie and the rest can be scattered.

 

There won't be any post-Sequel stories until the Sequels are complete.

 

I think this is the best approach of the spinoffs - they can expand on the era of the Sequels while not being a part of the story.

Honestly, this is what I think Lucasfilm and Disney are going to do - tell stories of new characters in the new war (not necessarily be involved, but affected somehow or it is going on "over there" while "this character" is doing "that over here").

For example, a community in under regular attack by pirates but the military is fighting a war so the locals hire bounty hunters (Seven Samurai)*** or a bounty is pursing his prey and the get caught in a battle in one scene. Also, a film could centre on Alliance soldiers training and heading off to war, elite commandos on a special mission (Guns of Naverone) or a military ship on a mission in the war zone.

*** Don't think it will happen though.

Given that there's a 30 year gap between ROTJ and Episode VII, I think its inevitable for a feature to focus on something going on in that time period, no?

 

I would agree but I am almost positive the first spinoff will take place either in the dark times or during the OT.

 

I wanna see the old history of the Jedi and Sith prior to the rule of two. When light sabers were in their infancy. When jaunting around the galaxy as hyper drives were starting to be used.

 

No doubt. A 19 year gap between ROTS and ANH can't merely be filled by a couple of comics, books and a TV show. Likewise with post ROTJ.

 

Wich is 11 years longer.

 

I would love all eras explored plus cross overs that involve other Disney Entities like, Pixar, Marvel, heck even Muppets

I would really love to see a film set around (shortly before) TPM... Some spy/political intrigue style story (sort of in line with the Agent of the Empire comic series) set against the backdrop of a decadent galaxy before the beginning of the fall (with maybe a few hints of the times to come...). I could be happy with a film set during the Clone Wars (a darker story along the lines of Jabiim from the comics) - not necessarily with Obi Wan/Anakin/other "big guns" other than cameo.

I do think, at least in the beginning, the dark times and post-rotj will be heavily mined.

Not particularly interested in anything Old Republic/distant past, but I understand why others are.

 

Maybe someone with ties to Valorum would get busted taking bribes, hence Valorum being accused of corruption.

 

I would love to see the rise and fall of the ancient Sith Order. Ending with Bane killing all of the Sith his apprentice escaping while he is cornered by the Jedi making a last stand and with the Jedi believing they have defeated the Sith once and for all.

 

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Path of Destruction got this wrong. Bane was supposed to be the one who saved the Sith, not the one who caused their fall in the first place.
