I hope the next two issues are great, so far this series is shaping up as my favorite of the new Marvel comics.

    Lord Momin?

Did he ever wear a top hat?

I'm pleased that the ancient Sith are explored in the first place, even if it is so subtle. Some of my favorite parts of what is now "Legends" were figureheads like Sadow and Kressh and how the Sith themselves came to be. A mere mention of them and their relics in the new canon is a step in the right direction. I always enjoyed Tales of the Jedi.

Makes me wonder if such things as the Jedi Schisms and Great Hyperspace war will largely stay the same, the period around the Old Republic has barely been touched, aside some mentions in TCW about old glory of Sith empires. [face_thinking]

So Palpatine's cane came from the legendary Darth Moomin?

Also, the Sith once ruling the galaxy is canon, right? Obi-Wan said, "The Sith now rule the galaxy as they did before the Republic." So how come Lando, like Bail Organa before him in the Clone Wars novel "Wild Space", act like he has never heard of these people before.

Palpatine: "Once more, the Sith will rule the galaxy! And we shall have peace."

Bail Organa: "I'd never heard of them."

Lando: "Look Emperor, I get that you're old, and that you're Sith or whatever, but I'm a man of the world!"

    Palpatine:

Well, most of the time the Sith are discussed, the events spoken of are almost mythical, like in The Big Bang, with Anakin's disbelief at superweapons. Maybe recent groups like Darth Bane's gang never ruled the galaxy like the even older Sith? And if the Sith are like the Jedi, only a few thousand strong at their height, maybe the large majority of galactic citizens never saw one, let alone heard who was at the top of the food chain.

Kind of interesting that they went with "Lord" instead of "Darth" for the title...

Hokey Force religion artifacts are probably worth a lot to the right collector. Still catching up on this series, but still liking it a lot. Just the tone in that opening scrawl is worth it, its very refreshing to have a series that feels fun. Not that Star Wars is supposed to fun-fun all the time, but I like the change of pace (and its why its the only Star Wars comic series I'm really following).

Lando stealing Palpatine's yacht is the best story idea I've heard in a looong time.

That would be rather funny if the bounty hunter decides to end this confrontation by saying, "I am an interested buyer and trust me, I can not be outbid." :p

I think one of those twins will get brainwashed by that sith artifact forcing it's brother to fight and kill him thereby breaking it's spirit and blaming Lando for the whole thing.

    Nice issue only one problem
The Writer had to take the predictable cliche route of the masked Chantha turned out to be a woman! Seriously can media in general stopping giving us mysterious figures (expecting us to believe they're men) that turn out to have breasts, this ain't the 70's anymore having female characters be big players isn't a surprise/shock to us anymore

I still don't get what the twins are supposed to be?

Are they supposed to be the comics' first gay characters?
