For one thing, the evil is actually resident again.

I didn't find it scary for a horror game, but I thought it was consistently interesting. They kept it simple which was okay.

Getting further through Deus Ex, I opted to perform the bank robbery rather than save the hacker. So there's already one reason to replay the game. But i'm glad I opted for the bank heist. That was fun.

I am also playing this game (just started). I think Miller is starting to get annoyed I still haven't bothered to come back into work.

I love that Miller is Bennett from Commando, and that Jensen is the spy from The Expanse.

I did the bank robbery. I think it's more important than the hacker.

Ender Sai - not sure if you're a fan of the "manager" genre, but SEGA's Motorsports Manager is 50% off on Steam - best price I've seen in a while.

Good reviews as a F1 management sim.

Yeah had some friends playing it, it looks like something I need to get.

I've actually been doing some management stuff in online racing leagues. It's hard work; managing pit strategies, driver mental state and all that. But getting a driver set up for a successful championship title is worth it in the end.

I think it had its scary moments.

When you go back for the lamp in the old farm house only for an elongated arm to snatch it away from off screen was a moment that made me go "**** right off. I'm not going down there."

I'd go as far as saying everything with spider Marguerite was nightmare fuel.

I have some mild interest, but that's solely due to Don Winslow's involvement.

Waypoint keeps accidentally referring to it as Cocaine Mountain and that immediately sounds like a much more interesting game than Wildlands appears to be, not gonna lie.

See I'm looking forward to cooperative tactical missions, but also the prospect of liberating poor farmers so they can be in the debt of my malevolent imperial overlords for life.

The digital download of the Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY edition is £5 on Game's website today, which is frankly one of the best bargains I've come across.

Picked up Motorsport Manager. Did the first tutorial race in their proxy-F1, with a proxy Ferrari team. It has full mod support now so I might add in real F1 stuff because fake-Vettel and fake-Kimi is annoying to type.

Seb was in P12 on the grid, Kimi P5. Being a tutorial Kimi's on Mediums and they're 65% worn so he has to pit on lap 5 which is annoying. Seb I pushed up to P1 at one point, running 3 stints (M, Int, S, S) but after the final stop I had dropped to 3rd. I set the instructions to push but took too much out of the tyres, dropping to P4 to Perez. Perez was subsequently DSQd though so lol.

I finally got a steam controller, so hopefully now I won't be sucking at driving.

I was thinking about picking one of those up, as well. Not a huge fan of the wired X360 controller I use.

Yeah Vivec tagged me on Facebook to note this.

However I think Australia was in Civ: A Call to Power.

I watched the video; the upgrades neatly reflect WWII era Australia's growth and expansion as well as the responsiveness to attack which characterised our response to Imperial Japanese aggression. Curtin was a socialist, and left school at age 13 - pretty impressive then that he can ascend to national prominence.

But I would have thought Robert Menzies the natural choice instead.

I played some of the open beta of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

The cars handle in a manner than can best be described as horrific, and the helicopters are no better. However, it's an absolute blast to take down compounds in a very Far Cry-esque manner with your mates. There was something satisfying about allowing for bullet drop and still landing a perfect headshot on a drug cartel member; the delay from the trigger squeeze until the thwack was enough for you to re-chamber a round in case you missed.

The map is huge, and utterly stunning. I've already got a few groups of people in Nonchalant Dominance (the GTA crew I'm in) who are keen to play and I've got Vivec on UPlay so I don't think solo'ing will be an issue on launch.

Also since you're forced to play as an American, I did shoot wildlife from the helicopter and we made sure to mortar civilian towns where there was absolutely no intelligence of OPFORs. The game has an RPG element in terms of levelling up skills etc; you might as well go all out on the RPG and play as a proper American soldier.
