From WEG's Truce at Bakura SB. They actually specify 8 of them, going to an affiliated Alliance group; 2 of them were present at the Battle of Endor.

 

Well, Gorefiend mentioned Droids, which was long before anything else and Ewoks, which was limited to Endor, so I didn't count them,

Yeah, well they also appeared in the game Rebellion, which is set after Yavin and they can't be the same as the eight from TAB (even if TAB was the first source to mention the QF at all).

 

Though Rebellion was never canon beyond some background info in the games databanks.

 

Interesting. This video of a Sullust Battlefront map seems to show an SSD taking off from the surface. Didn't know they could do that. Kind of makes the Victory Classes atmospheric abilities redundant, unless that has been retconed into simply being better at operating on planets than other ships.

 

Everything since the PT is atmosphere capable it seems.

Maybe he shouldn't chop up sentences when trying to "prove" something.
As for destroying planets, sounds like it's something they do on a regular basis given how often BDZ is thrown around in canon.
Maybe not shattering them, but still. Guess they don't need "1000 ships with more firepower than I've...".

Also, that is the first time I've ever heard 25 000 Imperial-class Star Destroyers being referred to as a "maximalist" idea. The galaxy still consists of millions of habitable star systems (refr. Mystery of a Thousand Moons).
