Chronologically, in Revenge of the Sith, Captain Raymus Antilles was portrayed by actor Rohan Nichol: And in A New Hope, he was portayed by actor Peter Geddis: Now, (presumably) the same character appears at the very end of Rogue One, entering the Tantive IV cockpit, and handing the plans over to Princess Leia... Question is, which actor is playing him in Rogue One? I can't seem to pinpoint an actor from the credits. It would be great for continuity if it was Rohan Nichols...but I don't think that it is. (REMOVED) Does anyone know?
If Rohan Nichols was in the film, we would have known by now. I've only seen the film once, but was Captain Antilles even mentioned? He doesn't seem to appear in any of the credits I've looked at.
As Bail is walking away from his conversation with Mon, he gets on the comlink and says "Captain Antilles somethin somethin." So he is mentioned but I didn't see him in the credits either.
he was spotted in bts photos but not noticeable in the film. at least not until we can dissect the film.
Clearly these are two different Antilles though the one in ANH was not actually named as being the one Vader killed but he became that afterwards. Antilles is pretty common from Wedge to Bail to Raymus. Though they might decide to insist that such a minor part of seconds on screen in the same it doesn't really work but is also of no actual consequence. Maybe he had a bad accident and reconstructive surgery on his face.
Tim Beckmann is credited as playing Captain Antilles in the end credits. Nothing is mentioned on this Tim Backmann's IMDB page,but given that he voices someone in Battlefront, I guess that is makes sense (and yet another cool easter egg of sorts if anyone is astute enough to pick up the voice). http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2474916/
