Hello and welcome! There are going to be four people working this thread (reviewing, posting links). Myself, Neobi_Kenobi, Lyra, C3SoloP0, and Elfsheen.

Our Jobs are:

C3SoloP0~ Will be monitoring your posts on thread (in more detail on his post)
Neobi_Kenobi~ Will be posting reviews
Elfsheen~ Will be posting reviews

On this thread you will see:

*Reviews for the fanfictions
*Fanfiction of the month

We, Myself, Lyra, C3Solo, & Elfsheen Promise to:

*be as professional as possible in our reviews
*try to keep up to date links
*and be a fair as possible

As a reader/poster on this thread you can:

*do short promotions/trailers of your Jaina/Jag or Jaina/Kyp fanfictions (please do not post links to your fics unless you include a trailer or promotion)
*PM those keeping up this thread with links to your Jaina/Jag or Jaina/Kyp fanfictions
*PM those keeping up this thread with your vote on fanfiction of the month (dates to be posted)
*post comments about thread
*post comments on a fanfiction (people that post mean comments will be asked to edit their post.)

When sending PMs to this username, please include in the subject line what the PM concerns, eg Reviews, List Updates, etc. If you would like a specific person to deal with your PM include their regular username in the subject line. Any PMs not comforming to this standard will be read by the first person to see them, and therefore may result in a delay before the relevant person sees your messages and is able to reply.

 

C3SoloP0 will be in addition to reviewing:

1) When a worker of this thread or a valid complaint from another user is made, finds a post offensive, disturbing, or outright false the submitter of the post will be kindly asked, by PM, to edit their post. From that point on the user has a three day window to edit, if the user does not a board moderator will be asked to remove/delete the post.

2) If a complaint is made about a review on a fanfiction is made in a post, the submitter will be kindly asked to edit the post and send a PM to the reviewer, who will change/remove the review. Complaints must have a valid reason. The same time frame applies to the post as above.

3) On the last thread users began to post a link, tagline, and so on to their fanfiction. We are asking you not to do this unless they abide to the terms. All posts that do not abide by the terms will have the same notification and time frame to edit as in #1.

Interlude by Mira_Terrik

After a reconnaissance mission goes awry, Jaina Solo and Jag Fel are stranded on a desolate planet and must come face-to-face with their growing feelings for one another.

This is a very well written romance about Jaina and Jagged. It has a wonderful story line and great descriptions. And unlike many Jaina/Jag stories today Kyp is not portrayed as mean or rude but as a friend to Jaina which I find refreshing. I highly recommend this story to anyone who likes romance and Jaina/Jag stories.

Devotion by Jedi-Princess-Solo

Caught up in the fierce war with the Yuuzhan Vong, Jaina Solo and Jag Fel struggle to find happiness together in a galaxy filled with uncertainty and darkness.

Wonderful Jag/Jaina story that is packed with mush. Averaging around 4 to 9 posts a day this will keep you reading. I have to say that this is one of my favorite Jag/Jaina stories.

War of the Heart by the_jedi_princess

Jaina Solo is torn between her feelings for Kyp Durron and those for her old.

Definetly interesting. Very nicely put together and has had a lot of thought put into it. I am very sorry that I didn't read this sooner. I have to say I highly recommend this story and I feel this is one of the better Jaina/Kyp stories around.

The Witness by Runaway_Shadow

Jaina's getting strange dreams of murder. Dreams that come true. When she investigates she discovers things better left buried.

This story is written from a different point of view, which is first person. First person is a bit more difficult to write, however Runaway_Shadow does a nice job in writting it. The story is very intriging and keeps you wondering. This story has a very interesting plot line and I hope she keeps it going in this direction.

M.I.A. by Jaggie_Jaya

The story line is very interesting. This story adds a bit of humor to a serious plot and pulls it off quite well. This is one story I personally will be following. And if Jaggie_Jaya ever wants to re-do this story she can easily make it ten times longer.

Jagged by Mira_Terrik

Summary to come...

Heart wrenchingly sad, tear jerking, and absolutely exquisite. Wonderful detail and excellent first person writing. An over-all wonderful vignette by a wonderful author.

The Chiss decide to reach out a helping hand to the Jedi Order, by offering them a new world withing their borders. Colonel Jagged Fel travels to Yavin 4 and brings the proposal before Luke Skywalker. There he meets Jaina again...

Eldritch has managed to write us all a very good fic. If you're going to read it, set a few hours aside. Each of the twenty-eight chapters is pretty long.
Eldritch's writing style is enjoyable - the fic easily slides from drama to mild humour. There's plenty of good one-liners in this one. Several characters from the pre-NJO EU make it an interesting read. A must for all Jaina/Jag readers.

Reflections by Kathryn (links to come)

Jag has gone. But now he is returning from his home in the Unknown Regions. But is it for the best? What does Jaina have that might ruin what is now their friendship?

This is a fairly new Jaina/Jag and I have to say I like it. The writing style is good and the plot is unique. There is an interesting plot twist near the start that will make your jaw drop and your mind whirl. Several flashbacks make for an interesting read.

Would you mind telling us a bit about you?

I am a college student at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in law, but I think I may keep going with writing on the side.

When did you first get into Star Wars?

When I was just a toddler, really. My mom showed me ANH and I was hooked from that moment on.

Why did you start to write Devotion and do you remember the inspiration for it?

I started writing it because I am a speed reader- I finished Rebel Stand an hour after I got it and I was like, "What? I have to wait a full three months before the next book?"

Out of Devotion, Serenity, and Revelation which one do you like the best and why?

Hmm, that's a tough one. I like them all, actually, but if I had to pick... Revelation. The third one had allowed me to explore a lot of deeper aspects with a lot of different characters.

Does feed back keep you going or is it all for fun?

Definitely! Feedback is what motivates you to push yourself to find time to write when you're busy, and it can even help you work through writer's block sometimes.

After Revelation is done are you planning on writing another story?

He he. Yes, there is already one in the works right now, actually. Kathryn and I have a co-work out, a post AotC fic Shadows, and we are planning on collaborating on an AU NJO idea that we recently had. That should be out sometime soon, if all goes well.

Hello all.......

I was just reading a viggie by Kyps_Queen and it made me think....

Wouldn't it be cool to have a fic that deals with Kyp and Jaina as a little girl? I mean...I've read some that have flashbacks and all but for some reason I think it'd be cool to have a longer insight into that..

I'm too chicken to write one.....but would anybody be interested in working on that?
