JJ Watt had been calling for it in the wake of Harvey, and I can't imagine he was the only one. It sucks for the rookies who were looking for one more chance to impress and make a squad, but this was a meaningless exhibition game that understandably pales in comparison to what's going on in Houston.

Two shrewd, potentially significant pieces of business from KC this week. Mentioned the deal for Reggie Ragland (Bills 2R 2016), who was monstrous LB at Bama before tearing his ACL last year. Today, we picked up Cameron Erving (Browns 1R 2016), who should give us OL depth.

Gave up one low round pick for each. That'll do.

Browns let Joe Haden go and he almost immediately is offered a 3 year deal with ****sburgh.

I'm so ****ing sad about this. The Browns were like "Oh, Erin's upset about the Kyrie trade? Hold my beer...". I have TWO Haden jerseys and a Cribbs jersey soooo...guess it's time for a new one.

Tonight is the last preseason game for everyone. I like that the NFL allowed teams to keep a roster of around 100 players this year for the final preseason game to help protect the final roster from injuries.

After my recent divorce with the chargers, it seems they are firing on all six cylinders.

It really grinds my gears to see Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon syncing with Phillip Rivers like it's 2007 again. smh.
