No one should ever root for the Falcons. They deserve their failure.

And oh my god these turnovers are killing us.

This is actually as close to being torn in a football game as ill ever be. Kaepernick played college ball in my hometown and I went to quite a few of his games.

This is one of the rare times in which I want to see a NoCal pro team win.

Manning helped his team to score 35 (well, I guess he had nothing to do with those kick/punt returns), but the point is, he's not responsible for what his defense does or doesn't do. Denver's defense lost the game, not their offense.

Tom, that does not surprise me. It makes sense that the two best posters in the JCC are from the biggest little city.

    Only quality comes from R-Town!

You ever go back to visit? Know people there?

EDIT: good to see the Pack respond. We need a stop here

Ummm ... You can't blame the defense for the pick-six Manning threw. You also can't really blame the defense for the game winning drive. At Altitude, you simply can';t turn the ball over at the spot on the field in a sudden-death situation.

So, yeah, can't entirely blame the defense.

Yeah that's what I do when I go home too haha. You should let me know next time you're in town we might be able to catch each other.

And that's part of why I'm so torn. I grew up surrounded by niners dans but I've been rooting for the pack with my dad for as long as I can remember. Seeing as he's from LA, i don't know why he's a packer fan. But that's just how it is Haha

Dom Capers better come back with some adjustments after halftime, because our failure to account for Kaepernick is ridiculous.

Kaepernick. Wow. Just wow. It's like seeing a star born before your eyes. Could be Tom Brady all over again.

I don't understand how a defense with Matthews and Woodson can look so exposed. Capers isn't good at all. I only really see the Packers during Giants game, but he can never prepare for Eli and our WR set.

Well....go Falcons? My brother is cheering for the Seahawks because of Wilson (he went to Wisconsin) but I don't like Pete Carrol. Really I don't entirely care as long as it isn't the Patriots.

Yeah ... At this point probably easier to rank the root against in order.

    1 Rat Birds
    2 Patriots
    3 ... Ummm ... Ummmm ...

Yeah. As long as neither of them win it all I'm good.

Well my dad does work right next to where they are building the new stadium...is that a good enough reason to root for them?

My interest is really next to nil now. I'm close to pretending everything from Jan. to April doesn't exist(Football wise, I think the library would love me a bit too much if I pretended the rest of the world didn't exist until April. They'd love the fines I'd likely rack up) and just skip right to the Draft.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and jump on the "dump Capers" wagon. There's no way a defense with a secondary like ours and a line like ours, complimented by a steady diet of Woodson and Matthews, should be allowing 500 yards. No way.

Well, I'm going to eat my words on Kaepernick. Dude came out to play today. 180 yards rushing? Damn.
