Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are deep in conversation in what appears to be a broom closet.

OBI-WAN: I sense a disturbance in the Force, Master.

QUI-GON: Don?t center on your anxieties, Obi-Wan.

OBI-WAN: But Master?

QUI-GON: Keep your concentration here and now?

OBI-WAN (Impatiently): The most mature person here seems to be Anakin Skywalker.

QUI-GON: That is of no concern.

OBI-WAN: He was twenty-two and known as Darth Vader at the time of change. He regressed from an angry, bitter Sith Lord to an angry, bitter teenager and he is the voice of reason.

QUI-GON: Not much of a difference. I don?t see ennathing to worry about. It?s water under the proverbial bridge.

OBI-WAN: But?

QUI-GON: He?s not old enough to turn to the Dark Side. We?ll worry about it after the ceremonies. I have an award to present.

He heads to the stage, greeting various minor characters on the way and dazzling women without even trying. When he gets to the podium, there is a standing ovation and he flashes them a winning grin.

OBI-WAN is walking back from the broom closet, looking quite put out that his own master won?t listen to him. Suddenly, a hand reaches out and grabs him and pulls him into a side hallway. It?s ANAKIN, who is looking closer to sixteen than twelve and even more harried than his master.

ANAKIN: Good news, Master.

OBI-WAN looks surprised and more than a little disoriented.

OBI-WAN: Your voice changed.

ANAKIN: It was going to happen eventually, Master.

OBI-WAN: In five minutes flat?

Anakin shrugs.

ANAKIN: Why not? Anyway, we?re growing. JINNGERBREAD is up to ten, BIGFATTY is out of diapers?

OBI-WAN: What about Striker? We?re depending on him to do Best Crossover.

ANAKIN: Last time I checked, he was fifteen and playing with Transformers.

They both shake their heads.

OBI-WAN: Some things never change. How far have we come?

ANAKIN listens for a moment, and then grins broadly.

ANAKIN: Asajj is doing ?Best Response to a Challenge.? She lost a bet to me.

OBI-WAN: Dare I even ask what kind of bet?

ANAKIN: Wouldn?t you like to know?
