    *shudders*

I have to agree with the post that Lord-Draco made. I'm white, and don't mind the fact that Fifty Cent is in the game. In fact I am glad that video games are allowing for a bit more diversity.

I find it kind of pathetic that this is actually going to be a game, and not only that but it is getting so much recognition. Oh well, I guess it's better than an Eminem game. [face_plain]

Not that I'm saying that this isn't going to be a bad game. However you all act like there has never been bad games to come out. You all act like this is like the first ever crappy game to ever come out. I mean yes, it has 50 Cent and I know that not everyone here is in the likes of 50 Cent. I know that it features a lot of rappers, and I know that not everyone here is into Rap. However enough is enough. I mean you can dog the game all you want, I don't care. But just be more mature and upscale with your comments. Because the vibe I'm getting is that this is the first time you all have seen/experienced a crappy/sorry game.

Yes this is actually going to be a game, but there are many other titles out there that were actually games but were sorry. Like I said before, this is just a publicity stunt for 50 Cent and G-Unit alike. They don't care if this game sells a million copies, gets rave reviews, and GOTY awards. This is just a move to get their name out to a broader audience. This is just marketing by G-Unit and a huge publicity stunt. This is only to put $$$ in 50's pocket. The same way he has a clothing line, a shoe line, a movie coming out, so now he has a game.

Again, this game isn't for us hardcore gamers. Its for those casual 1-3 hour a week playing gamers. The ones who only has Madden and GTA in their gaming collection. This game is for those people and yes....this game will sell. It won't sell like a Halo 2, but it will sell more than some of the games thats out right now. Does that make it a better game? No, but it does accomplish what 50 Cent and G-Unit wants....more money and their gonna get it.

    Got it.

And if you want an example of truly bad game, you should see "The Guy Game" or "Shaq Fu".

I'm confident that this game will make Shaq Fu look like LOZ in comparison.

Game Informer has some new information on it, and it appears that this game will be at least in the better than average range. The main higpoints so far are the character models and the sound track.

Okay, so explain to me why you quoted my reply. Your second point is the exact reason I'm naysaying this game; it's not a game for the sake of gaming, it's a game because Fitty needs more cash so he can pimp so damn hoes and bullcrap. Seriously, don't defend this game, you look like a goof.

Well looks like I was right about this game. So far its getting bad reviews and the highest it recieved was a 6&1/2.

<< I guess I'm in that 15% because I'm black....and from the suburbs. But your excuse needs more backing to it. I live in the burbs, and I have a lot of white friends....and they all listen to and enjoy 50 Cent along with Hip Hop music. Rap today isn't what it was....10 years ago. Rap then was just a black/latino thing. Today it still remains to be dominatly a black/latino thing, however it is more accepted in other cultures. You have your typical American Eagle wearing white girl with flip flops dancing in Hip Hop clubs. You have typical white Ambercombie guys blasting rap music in their cars. >>

    Whoa, whoa.

    Back up there.

    You got it wrong.

The difference between rap in the 80's and rap of today was that it was good back then :p

    Seriously.

Maybe I'm biased because I was a child of the 80's... but rap and hop hop back then was cool. Not only was it cool... it was like an orgasm of music in your mouth. I mean, some great musical talent with actual musicians.

And as someone who grew up in the 80's... I can tell you that rap was listened to by just as many white dudes as blacks.

But I have to say... ever since the 90's gangsta rap explosion... it was not the same. And on top of that, we got a lot of glorification and just plain nasty attitude.

And I honestly dislike that. Not just in rap... but in rock as well.

In my eyes, the true glory days of rap and hip hop are over... but there are some exceptions, which is what I will listen to.

this has got to be the stupidest idea for a game i have ever seen, yet it will probably sell out because stupid little rapper lovers, and people who just like plain violence think its "kewl"

i wish they would spend time on making good games, oh well, what can you do?

The Gamespy folks have truly roasted this one. Here's the reviewer's capsule...

    ...and summation:

And, for comparison, I point to the Gamespot and IGN reviews. I like how the latter calls it 'anything but bulletproof'...
Stick a fork in it; it's done. Do youreself a favor and get Dead to Rights and/or Kill.Switch instead.

this game don't look good, i don't even really like his music that much though... so it wouldn't persuade me.

The two Def Jam games in my mind are awesome, and hugely overlooked probably because of the hip hop image. one of my mates was a huge fan of the wrestling games on the n64 and ruled at them, took ages to get him to play it once and now he loves it

My friend who's a fairly big 50 Cent fan bought this game and returned it 2 days later. He says it has great graphics but the buck stops there. Otherwise it sucked. He said it kinda felt like one big interactive 50 Cent ad
