Off topic but so much crazy crap has happened in recent years that I feel like if aliens invaded in 2023 I'd probably just shrug and think, "yeah, of course this is how things end."

^ The way that was written, at first I thought they were saying a U-2 captured a spy balloon, which makes no sense, a U-2 has no way to do that. No, the U-2 captured the images of the balloon, which is perfectly reasonable for it to do. Those planes have all kinds of super secret cameras and sensors, so I'm sure they have a lot better images and data than those that have been released for public viewing.
