    The Rules

    ANY IMAGE YOU POST MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE ARTIST’S NAME. Sometimes a studio is named in place of an artist's name. This is acceptable.

    You are allowed one post per day with up to 3 images in it. That's it.

    Images should come from a hosted source.

    Images are to be something drawn, painted, or produced via digital medium. Sculptures are certainly welcome and obviously a photo of them is needed. Yes, Sarge, a photo of a painting on a plane is fine. Photos of people or anything outside what I just listed go in the photo thread.

    These rules are mod approved.

    Got to see this one in person many years ago on a touring exhibit. I'm glad online reproductions are finally being provided in the kind of detail necessary to really appreciate things like brush strokes and daubs and such. When I was in college, I remember when even the reproductions in an art textbook would actually be really awful. Still no comparison for seeing things in person, but much better than they used to be.

    My goodness, that is some amazing stuff.

    Side note: Maybe version 2 of this thread rolling out is a good time for me to finally start participating in this thread by actually posting things.
