GodOfDeath, KOTOR's Mission Vao does look pretty cute there. Never saw that one; only the chara profiles. Cool character and a wookie partner to boot.

Yodaminch, that's cool your site is back up. Thanks for posting my new submissions!

    here

edit: There's a great looking Aayla CW-style sketch by Thomas D Hodges in there too! :)

Can anyone give me some biography info. on Amy Allen? I'm particularly looking for her height, marital status, and age. Thanks!

    :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I got another Aayla figure....and I removed this one from her plastic prison!

Sorry Phantom Menace, but I don't have that kind of info myself. Personally, I never thought about asking her. Perhaps you can contact her agent at her website? Its in my sig below.
That's cool you were able to get an extra Aayla fig...I still can't find any in my area yet: regular store or specialty shop

Yodaminch, thanks for Bantha Tracks addresses. I've had copies of the free BT#0 IMAX theaters were giving away (no, never did get to see it in that format). Just thought one had to be a member to submit them. Hope to sign upfor Hyperspace to get the bundled Insider subscrip soon

Just looked at the Jedi Guaradians TCG thread and they got all 150 cards listed...

sadly, Aayla is not a featured character

rebelscum.com covering the SDCC and I found these 2 Aayla-related photos:
    DarkHorse
    and here

And Amy Allen just announced on Jan Duursema's WFC boards that she will make it for Saturday.

Kampilan, great new fan artworks! :) I especially like the inked one of Aayla and Quinlan, Aayla's facial features and expression are beautifully rendered and well captured in that piece.
Also very much like the one of Aayla in the action pose with her lightsaber held diagonally accross her chest. Quite the striking pose and extremelly detailed outfit, very accurate. (Somehow reminescant of the pose Quinlan has in the illustration for Star Wars Insider that Jan Duursema made.)

The cartoon "Clone Wars" style Aayla Secura fan artwork by Thomas D Hodges looks fantastic! Makes one really wish that they indeed would include Aayla's character in the "Clone Wars" cartoon.
Who knows, perhaps Aayla might be included in the comic book adaptation of the "Clone Wars" cartoon that Dark Horse plans to release later this year? :)

Great pictures at Rebelscum.com from the Sand Diego Comic-Con Thanks for the heads up on that.
I'd sure wish I'd be there to get that Aayla Tales #14 artwork replica. It looks awesome! :D
(If indeed Amy Allen did attend on Saturday, could have purchased that artwork and gotten it autographed by her! Now that would have been grand.)

PhantomMenace, cool that you were able to get an extra Aayla Secura action figure.
I think Kampilan's idea is best, for such information best to ask Ms. Allen's agent or representation.

    GodOfDeath, thanks :D
I based most of my new stuff from "convention-type" artwork. The kind pro artists draw (for free!)at conventions. (although instead of 2 minutes, it takes me maybe 30 min.)
I'm heavily-influenced by comic book artist Jim Lee's style ...yeah, he's been copied by hundreds over the past decade.

I heard he's also gonna be at Artist Alley this weekend at Comic Con...I'd definitely ask him to draw me a cool Aayla. But then, the waiting line for him is always insane!

There's always Joe Corroney and Justin to count on if Jan can't make it though, right? Yay!

edit: I think the Clone Wars adaptation is based on Republic #51 and 52 to introduce us to the 2 villains. But, yeah, it'd be nice to see Aayla somehow. If not the actual cartoons then the adaptations would be nice

Starwars.com had this picture of Amy Allen at the San Diego Comic-Con in their SDCC report.
(Amy Allen who portrayed Aayla Secura in Episode II attended the SDCC on Saturday, signing and posing for pictures at the Master Replicas booth.)

Only one fan took photos of Ms. Amy Allen?
They were all probably paying more attention to all the toys and Clone Wars stuff...Logan, Jeremy, Mark Hamill, Angelina Jolie, Halle Barry, Hugh Jackman, Kate Beckinsale, etc as well :p

Wasn't there a TFN booth this year? SWSDFF seemed in full force this year since they got more involved with the LFL people

Nobody took any photos of Joe or Justin either...now I know I should've gone to San Diego!

He mentions that on Amy Allen's Saturday visit someone from DH was nice enough to have these items available for her .

Oh yeah, gotta support Aayla so naturally I voted for her! :)
Ti may be a Master Jedi but Aayla is more attuned to the Force ;)
That's great that Aayla is winning...I'd assumed that most everyone will be pulling for Master Ti and think it ridiculous for a rookie Knight like Aayla to be tops.

Hope to add those great Aayla items to the collection soon!

The actress looks better in blue.

But...have you guys seen the Clone Wars comic Volume I, oh my god. I wouldn't mind having a Twi-lek over for dinner anytime. She kicks ass, and has a nice one too.

Very cool updates, GodOfDeath. The cute Aayla custom wind-up is pretty tight!
Saw the other nice C2 photos og Gen Con too.
Here you can just make out an costumed Aayla fan under the yellow Magic sign:

Yodaminch, I would think Steve Sansweet
is the guy we should contact? I'm not a hyperspace or fanclub member so I don't have access to such e-mail addresses...maybe you should ask the OS website? I went ahead and sent my Aayla "poster" and 2 2002 SDCC photos to Paizo

Wow! 166 sigs on the petition is really great! I'm not sure who to send it to either... By all means--if you can--post it up at the Dark Horse Message boards. Maybe you'll even get more folks there to sign it!

Hopefully the JEDI-Aayla Secura issue will be out on August 20 as (re)scheduled! I think this is going to be one to remember (well, I hope so anyway...)

Right now I'm almost done pencilling issue 59 of Republic--2 pages to go--then onto JEDI-Count Dooku!

Fantastic pieces of art throughout this thread! You all just keep getting better and better!

I'll be a the Chicago Con. If anyone here is going to be there--stop by and say 'hey'.

    MTFBWY!

Kampilan, great eye on spotting that fan in an (Aayla) blue Twi'lek costume. Too bad they didn't make/post a picture focused on that fan and the costume, looks like it might be quite an awesome costume. :)

Jan, great that "Republic #59" is nearly completed. Wish you a great time at the Wizard World Chicago con, hope it's an awesome weekend and con! :)
I can hardly wait for "Jedi - Aayla Secura" to be out and finally see this issue! :D

Check out this cool auction on eBay from 'Dustincropsboy' for an "Aayla Secura, Zam Wessel & Aurra Sing" babydoll t-shirt.
Quite a cute shirt (only fit for smaller sized females however).

    Here's the babydoll t-shirt:

Jan! That's fantastic you are just about done with the much-anticipated A'Sharad vs Anakin story. And Dooku---wasn't planning on buying it right away but then I remember you telling us it'll have lots of Quin in it (and I just read the DH solicitation describing the difficult mission Quin has at hand) so now if, its got Quin: I'm in.
HAve a great time in Chicago. Its next week, right?

    Jedi:Aayla in about 3 weeks. Almost...there... :)

GodOfDeath, the Aayla-fan looks like Mazzic's model I think. Maybe? Great find on the nice babydoll shirt and cool photos.

Yodaminch, yeah I think Sansweet is the contact rep. The petition is already closed, right?

Actually, the images that were based on #51 & #52 were just example pieces of art. The actual comic series will be adaptations of the actual episodes.
