Senate Abortion: Why not?

Started listening to the SCOTUS arguments on the EMTALA case today. The lawyer for Idaho made the following statement: "Professional standards can change on a daily basis."

Absolutely false. Standard of care is based on recommendations that come from evidence-based research and while said research can change, it most certainly does not happen on a daily basis. There is both a science and an art to medical practice, and this attorney's comments were a blatant distortion of that.

I was literally shouting at him in my car. Not that he listened or answered back.

"Abortion is never medically needed to save the mother of the baby"

Yep, a list of fake-good-name groups getting together for more misinformation. I mean, they have all admitted it one way another. Why not take the names of what they? The Doom Foundation. The Handmaidens Tales Group. We Are Evil Association.

 

In their defense, this is true.
