With the Pop TV app, which is a garbage app btw, I was able to use Apple Play to cast the TV show I was watching from the app on my iPad/iPhone to my Samsung TV.
I'm assuming the same might be doable with the Peacock app?!

Oh yes, I was just thinking of shows that are still on. If you haven't seen The Americans, it is the best spy show ever IMHO.

 

Yah I was thinking about Jack Ryan as a fill in and I've been definitely meaning to watch The Americans but can't access the back catalogue streaming service of FXNow Canada (episodes of FX series are only available for like 3 weeks after airing and the kicked behind another paywall). So probably Jack Ryan it is! Eventually.

 

Yah it's okay though cuz on Prime we just got X-Files, maybe should rewatch the whole thing, been about 20 years (and it was on Netflix about 5 years ago). Also Community (also Netflix too), 30 Rock and Parks and Rec, Netflix Canada still has Office and Friends, the whole reason for Peacocks existence!

I would like to see Solar Opposites on Hulu but doesn't have a Canadian distributor yet and Hulu is US only (they sell Hulu content to different Canadian stations). Also watching Doom Patrol which is on CTVSCIFI and Crave.

Anyway about hour and a half from that 30 Rock reunion special Peacock advertising! For a steaming service I can't see ahahah

 

Anddd my cable box was broken at 8 pm. But I got it to work at 8:50. Butttt even though the cable box information guide said 30 Rock, it was not. The NBC affiliate I get was one of the stations that apparently refused to air it. Local news special called Something Good about fuzzy feel good stories. 9 pm Superstore came on fine though.

There's a ad for Peacock on the bottom right corner of Superstore broadcast too they'll probably black box it out ahaha

Going to try 11 pm West coast feed but not feeling optimistic about it. Wish me luck! Good God Lemon!

 

I finished season 1 of Breaking Bad last Friday. I'm really enjoying it, going to start season 2 tomorrow evening.

West coast feed doesn't have 30 Rock reunion special Peacock advertising either, some concert benefit thingie. Reading into it non NBC owned affiliates full on revolted and put on local programing, only aired on NBC owned stations.

But that's fine, I'm sure I can find it eventually on the wilds of the Internet and TFA and TLJ are on Showcase so it's cool.

It was probably inevitable for it to happen with some streaming service given how much balkanizing is occurring, but it's hilarious that it's happening to such an obnoxious one.
