SWC22 Anaheim 22 - Panels and programming

I guess they knew Hayden wasn't coming which explains why there is no Kenobi panel and AOTC is in the afternoon.

 

@star_wars_is_good I believe Hayden will still attend actual panels, though I do believe Ahsoka is filming which may be why he is not doing photos or signing and I believe Warwick is filming Willow which is why he is not doing it. I am glad I got Hayden in Orlando and Warwick in Chicago though that's for sure.

 

I hope you're right, but I really don't think he will. It is a major holiday weekend. Maybe he just wants to spend it with family.

 

This is my first celebration since Orlando in 2010. This will be my fourth celebration but first under ReedPop. I like the lottery system cause I can't handle doing the over night anymore. I can't wait to go but I'm going by myself and am really worried now about getting into any of the major panels with the grouping being increased to 12. I'm thinking they're going to try to get the groups in before the individuals.

 

David, you should have the same chance of being selected in the panel lottery as a group of four.

 

Maybe during the current press tour for Kenobi, the Lucasfilm publicist got him to record something for the AOTC panel that they'll play during it.

 

Thanks for the heads up. So they’re doesn’t appear to be a Lego or Hasbro lottery - are they using a separate system, or is it going to be a free for all?

 

There aren't many options available yet.

 

It's like Chicago. Only the first panel of the day is a lottery.

 

I put in for all four opening panels. In order of interest level:

Lucasfilm Panel
Mando+
ILM
Bad Batch

 

I'll only be there for sat and sun but I put in for both. I accidentally hit the button for the funko on the wrong day so hopefully I don't get that day. For Chicago I just printed the passes and gave away the ones I didn't use. I'm curious if it will be that easy this time as well. I gave up the Galaxy's edge and mando panels and regretted both but my son didn't want to sit through them. He is a little more interested in it this time.

Ewan has 3 pm photo ops on Friday, so if he is appearing at the AOTC panel it's probably only for the first part of it

I just entered for the panel selections. I have a 4 day badge(activated in hand) along with my VIP (pick up).

I was expecting only getting a single entry because of the 4 day badge but it showed two entries that I can make for each panel day. I think they automatically cancelled the second because I only received one email confirmation for each panel while the Funko which showed just one entry gave me two email confirmations for each day.

Note: I want to enter for the panels for all four days so I can give it away if I get lucky on Thurs, Fri, and Sun. If I win on Sat I plan to give it to one of my two friends who are only attending Sat if they are not successful.

 

That sounds right to me. You get the panels and shop lotteries with the 4 day and just the shop lotteries with VIP as you already have reserved seating.

 

So I entered the panel lottery for my fiancée and I. Really hoping we get into the lucasfilm Thursday panel and also Mandalorian season 3.
I have a question though that might have been answered or possibly I’m missing something. So for light speed pass they say you can’t use it for celebration stage, however the AOTC panel is not by lottery and it’s on celebration stage. So will we be able to reserve spots on light speed the am of, or is it first come first serve?
