    Which let me be the first one to say that I loved in Rogue One, and I love even more now.
    I think every Star Wars medium should have a text before it shows us a planet.

    It was. Somehow the Battle of Yavin was mentioned. Don't look too much into it.

    The second scene of the whole show is a five minute sequence of a red robot rolling around a town and landfill while being harassed by the dog-pig alien creatures from Solo.

    Cassian’s buddy filling in his part of Cassian’s alibi was really great dialogue. In that one scene they established that these guys are close friends, and though Cassian keeps straining that friendship, he remains loyal (and that plays out in episode 3). This is just high class writing.

    I enjoyed this. Good set up especially with the flashbacks and established what we already know about Cassian taking no bull****.

    And I loved the hound peeing on the droid. [face_laugh]

    Only seen Ep.1 so far but it was excellent. Every person with dialogue seemed to ooze character! Great settings. Loved the music. Great dialogue throughout. Loved the way Andor gets himself out of tight spots.

    Brilliant SW spy/espionage/rebel portrayal. Can't wait to watch Ep.2...

    The actor playing kid Cassian is great too. Something about him just makes you want to protect him at all costs. A kindness in his face, I think. Which really helps sell Marva’s decision to adopt/ save/ kidnap him. Great casting here and elsewhere.

    Also, the guy who Cassian shoots at the beginning is played by the actor who plays the Jewish character Timon in the HBO Rome series. Another great minor character, and more strong casting decisions.

    I’m constantly amused by newer Star Wars properties having to match the 1977 aesthetics, especially when it comes to computer monitors and control panels. The scene where the young officer was barking at his underlings really highlighted this for me.
