ST Anthony Daniels (See-Threepio) in Episode IX

She senses the dagger and tells everyone to go off without her. Runs into C-3PO after Kylo tells her he’ll come tell her in person about being a Palpatine now that he knows where she is.

 

Loved him in this film. He was great!

 

Great to see 3PO getting the screen time he deserves - great performance by Daniels to see out his character......

 

Great final performance by the great Anthony Daniels. JJ pulled it off. C3PO deserved a big final role.

 

I loved how he looked so Sithy on Kijimi before they go inside. Or did he look Jediy? Well, they all did.

In Japan you won’t hear too much laughter in cinemas as it’s considered rude. But the elderly guy sitting next to me laughed when our heroes looked at C3P0 on Pasaana when he goes on how lucky they were to arrive for the festival and it takes him awhile to figure they’re not interested. And then in the serpent tunnel when he says to Poe it’s alright that his name wasn’t called out to see if everyone’s okay, which he was.

This is the best performance by Daniels. He could speak Sith, or at least translate it. But in his second best performance in Robot Chicken he can’t speak Spanish. Nor can R2D2. But he can speak English... and apparently German.
