AP TESTS!!! AAAAH

Haven't gotten mine yet. I'm on the West Coast.

Well, to explain, the college I'm attending, UVA, only accepts, I believe, 18 credits from high school course credit such as AP testing.

Without my senior year tests, I already "have" 20 credits filled from last year's, but they'll only give me 18.

At least I'll have my choices of courses to skip?

 

Meh. I'm down here in Texas, and I've not received my scores yet. I took AP US History and AP English Language. Senior year I'm taking Calc BC, Physics B, Government, Economics, and English Lit. Then there's IB tests on top of that in six subject areas. Damn it.

 

I feel for you man, I was one of the few also bustin' their hump senior year.

Don't worry, it pays off.

 

Last year I took US History and got a 3..I was really upset about it.
This year I took Chem (I think I failed) and Euro (hopefully I passed)
Next year english Lit, Biology, Human Geography (a new AP course)

I'm really pissed right now. Got mine back and only got a friggin 3 on AP English Comp. WHat confuses me is I KNOW I did good... or thought I did. I got 9's on every single practice essay except one, which I got an 8. I couldn't have done so bad on the MC to kill my score so badly.

It is somehwta subjective I guess, but I still don't understand what went wrong. If I went back I'd do it all the same.

Bah.

 

eww AP. i just took my AP US history test in may. i felt so good going into it, i was so prepared. and there was this really stupid lady who works at our school who was giving us the test, and she said she was going to tell us periodically how much time we had left. so i have 15 questions left and she hasnt said anything so i think im doing really good. then she says we have about five minutes left.

GRRRR!! so because of that alone, i probably failed, or at least got lower than i was hoping.

and it's kinda depressing cause i worked so hard in that class.

next year my whole schedule is pretty much AP. AP Euro history, AP Euro lit, AP Psych, AP Bio...lets just say i work better when given a challenge. most of the time.

unfortunately, i accidentally threw away the sheet that said what our summer hw was for AP Euro, and summer's already halfway over. all i know is i have to read Gulliver's Travels, The Prince, and Utopia.

oh yay.

 

You guys have cool AP courses at your schools...I had boring Gov, English Lit, Stats...I mean, they could've at least thrown in AP World History, but noooooo.

I really want to know my scores, but I'm afraid to call the number and have them tell me I failed. I just need 3's for credit! Ahhh!

I got a 4 on my Human Geography test! WOOOOO!

I got a five on AP Bio.

Ugh, I got a 3 on my AP Spanish test. I was really hoping for higher Ah well, such is life

 

Fives for me on both Gov and English Lit.
A four on calc and two threes for physics and chem, but that was kind of expected. I was hoping to score higher on physics though. Oh well, at least I passed.

 

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but it might have something to do with college...

For what it's worth, I'm sixteen and taking more than a full course of college classes majoring in the political sciences and juggling a concert pianist career.

AP Government and Politics US - 4
AP English Literature/Composition - 5

Last year: AP English Language/Composition - 4

 

None of you whining people have to take Regents if you're not in New York state. Those tests alone determine whether you graduate or not, and last year more than 50% of high schoolers failed them, thus weren't able to get diplomas later on.

California has something called an Exit Exam which students are expected to pass in order to complete high school. The tests are ridiculously easy, and I'm not surprised that 54% of my former school failed them.

 

Yeah no offense but I live in NY and here are my Regents grades:

Earth Science - 93
Sequential I - 94
Biology - 87
Sequential II - 84
Spanish - 99
English - 98
Chemistry - 77
Physics - 74

They aren't hard tests, I never once studied for any of them. Physics I was helped by the curve.

If you're whining about REGENTS, obviously you've never taken AP, right?

YES I PASSED! I didn't even start on my last essay either, which suprises me a lot.

AP Stat-1

I wrote stories and drew pictures.

 

I got a 4 on my AP US History test.

 

Aggg! New_York_Jedi, 5 on the APBio! I took the class this year, but did not take the test. Boy was that a mistake. I heard immediately afterwards that it was uber-easy. It was exactly like the few tests that we'd studied off of.

Actually, I have something terrible to admit- I've taken 6.5 AP classes and never taken an AP test. I'm a scaredy-cat.

 

On my AP US History, I got a 3. I'd like to have done better, but that's a miracle considering that history ain't my thing, and also that I never paid attention for even one second in class. I was always either talking about band, naked people, or things naked people do.

On AP English Language and Composition, I got a 5. Writing IS my thing. And I never did anything in that class, either. Well, except for sleeping and pissing people off.
