Banner problems

We've been getting a few PMs from people saying that some banners are disappearing for varying lengths of time. It's something we're aware of, and we've got the tech-monkeys working on it and we've got plenty of bananas to feed them

Whilst I won't pretend to understand the techie side of things, I've been asked to ask you guys to report here any similar occurences. The more detail you can give us, the quicker we should be able to get it all sorted and life can go on as normal

 

San Diego's hasn't been working for a while.

 

Rochester's is gone right now.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the banner problem or not, but some of the CRs are red all of the sudden.

It's been off and on daily for the Denver board.

 

Massachusetts Fan Force is down as well

Well as long as we can still use the forums I am patient.

 

I noticed four FanForce forums that still had banners...this one, FanForce Community, FanForce Conventions, and the Northeast USA regional forum.

 

Doesn't appear to be all of them. Some of the UK ones are ok, others are gone

As I say, I'm not a techie, but I expect there's more than one server to cover all the stuff here

Bloomington, Ind has been down for about 7 days.

 

Oceania's been down since the weekend.

 

Looks like everything's back to normal, as the banner has come back for the Massachusetts forum.

EDIT: Spoke too soon...now there's no banner in FanForce Community and FanForce Conventions.

Right, I've just got up and trying to catch up on stuff.

The servers have (obviously) been reset. Jedi_Dajuan is re-uploading every single FF Banner (of which there are a LOT). Once that's complete, we will have to go through every single FF Chapter and correct the banner and VIP issues, then all should be fine and dandy (fingers crossed )

 

Denver, CO is gone! RMFF board is not on the list but I have it as my home page so when I go there is says: You do not have permission to access the /asp/denied.asp page.

I've called my RSA, does anyone else know what's going on & how long it will take to bring it back up?

It was off for about 10-20 mins on the L.A.
