Oh god, I hated Xasha as well. She just... doesn't make sense.

Of course, Boba disarming Kota was awesome.

It's unfortunate that the OT movies don't have quite as many duels. Then again, there's only 2 lightsaber duelists in that era, so it makes sense. I want to see more of Vader in action.

Vader in action: say what you want about TFU II (god knows there are plenty of bad things about it), but they did a good job of making him a truly frightening force in that one.

Dammit, I really need to get around to reading Ghost Prison (and Lost Command, because I can't help myself).

I flipped through Lost Command at the bookstore, saw Vader shackled to a pole without his helmet and crying about Padmé, and then did something self-destructive and overly dramatic.

I'd have to give separate duels: one for the novels, other for movies.

Movies: Vader vs. Obi-Wan on Mustafar, on a sheer emotional level (and the fight is just amazing to experience).

Novels: Tough one. I always liked Caedus vs. Luke in Inferno. Can't put my finger on why, exactly; perhaps because (again) of the emotional aspect (Luke finding Caedus torturing Ben hit a chord with me as a father).

I don't know if this necessarily counts, but the scenes in Apocalypse where Luke, Jaina, and company are fighting their desperate battle against the Lost Tribe underneath the Jedi Temple. Those scenes were crazy intense, and Denning did a great job in putting across the sheer exhaustive toll those battles were taking on the heroes. The moment Luke refers to Jaina as a Master for the first time (knowing they might be going to their deaths) was a powerful one.

I keep hearing awesome things about Cin Drallig, the lightsaber instructor. I think it'd be pretty awesome if he were to be featured in a novel in some way.

I seem to remember that it was made canon at some point. I could be wrong, though.

Final duel between Palpatine and Luke in "Dark Empire", I admit that my imagination probably gives it a lot of added coolness.

Yes, we hear a lot how he's awesome and could beat everyone in a duel and is Kyle Katarn's secret father but we have never even met him properly.

What about Kyle vs. Caedus? Thoughts? I never really knew what the big deal was about Kyle until that novel. Apparently Caedus defeating Kyle was a huge deal.

I've heard many great things about it. The graphics are just sooooo, so bad. I wish they'd remake it with better graphics.

They may not be the best, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome.

I mean let's face it, the way Lucas Arts has been lately, they aren't going back to the old stuff, ever.

The graphics in KOTOR suck too, doesn't stop it from being a good game.;)

And I thought Jedi Academy was Jaden's game, I don't remember Kyle doing much in the Dark Side Ending of that game.

Anytime anyone lets "dated" graphics keep them from enjoying an excellent game, Saxton Hale kills a panda. If the game is from within the past ten years, he punches a koala, too.

Y'know, normally I'd agree, Academy and Outcast make the Quake 3 engine really dated. The Textures aren't so great and the animations make people look like robots. It's not even that good for the time.

I'd settle for a rehaul to bring it up to Return to Castle Wolfenstein Level, but I'd rather there'd just be a new Jedi Knight game.

Not gonna happen, but whatever. Maybe if that TPS they're making takes off they'll try something more risky.

There's not much they could do that would be less risky than making a Jedi Knight sequel.

Obi-Wan vs Anakin on Mustafar although I do think the Yoda vs Sidious and the Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Darth Maul battles comes close. I love the original trilogy duels it's just that Darth Vader seems a little weak EVEN with the suit on especially considering the Force Unleashed I and II.

Jaden has to fight him instead of Ragnos-Tavion in the Dark Side ending - if he's at Vjun mission level, should be really hard to beat.
