It's cool they got Hayden this time. I was really surprised when he didn't sign/do photo ops in Anaheim.

 

I believe this is Gwendolyn Christie’s first Celebration as a signing guest. She was also in the recent Wednesday Addams series, and of course she was in Game of Thrones.

 

She's also in The Sandman which is excellent. She's signed at other cons before, but this is her first time signing at Celebration.

I just checked and that’s almost three times the price I paid for my photo op with Billy Dee in Chicago!!!

 

I think it's more than 3x when you consider the conversion rate.

 

I hope he's in better shape than at the last London Cele. He was acting like he was either ill or on something in the talk my friend and I saw. We eventually walked out on it.

 

That's just how he is. He's pretty low energy which goes against people's expectations.

 

He was slurring words and was very hard to understand, hence our thinking he was incapacitated.

We saw Billy Dee at another con once (I want to say 2017 or 2018) and he had his own panel host with him. It worked much better than some of his recent SWC panels, I think the guy with him knew him and did this type of thing regularly so he knew how to get the best responses out of him.

Carl weathers has item restrictions (like no funko pops). He says its a reedpop decision, but he is the only one with restictions. The menu of different prices for different items with send ins via officalpix is eye-opening.

Guys, have you ever tried to get an autograph from those guests who attended only on panels? For example Harrison Ford, George Lucas and John Williams in 2017 SWCO, Pascal and Hayden last year. Is there any backdoor or artist's entrance, where autograph hunters are waiting?
I think this year Ford, Hamill and Pedro Pascal (maybe Williams) will appear only on stages, without any announcements before. And I really want to try to get an autograph from them.
Do you have any recommendations?

 

I believe a few VIPs in the very front row got lucky and got a quick signature off Pedro at the end of the Mando+ panel in Anaheim. Beyond that I'm afraid you're out of luck.
