Discussion Celebration 2025 Japan: This Is the Way (to new reveals)

I think we’ll get a lot of talk about movies, but I’ll also be interested in any new show announcements. I assume Acolyte season 2 is going to happen. All rumors point toward it. But I wonder what new live action stuff will be announced ?

We also may or may not have a new animated show by this point. So I expect that to have a panel either way.

 

Prophecy: there will be no new Star Wars movies or even trailers for them until the prequel trilogy is remastered in 3D and given a simultaneous theatrical run

 

Damn i missed this Thread for few days, lol. I hope for new announcement of shows live action and animation. Cast for Rey Movie, Teaser for Mandalorian and Grogu. New details on Dawn of the Jedi and Filoni's movie. What about Lando and Rogue Squadron.

They're not going to announce a Studio Ghibli Droids film. They should, but they won't.

 

Anyone trying to get tickets and planning to travel to Japan?
I actually am but never tried to catch tickets for a convention before...should I get my hopes up or they will be gone in 0.0000000001 msec and I will be left without anything?

What do you need help with? Happy to help, I've been to 4 myself so I would call myself something of an expert

Only thing I've never succeeded in is getting VIP tickets

@star_wars_is_good is also a fantastic help over in the Celebration forum

 

Regular tickets are not hard to get as long as you don’t wait forever. Jedi Master tickets are both extremely expensive and very hard to get.

 

They’ll also test your midichlorian count before letting you buy them.

 

And if your M count is high enough, you get to participate in a secret project.

I am trying to understand exact day and hour and official site to buy them and also wondering about the VIP tickets but will have to see how expensive they are

So probably no chance for the VIP tickets!
The plan would be to travel to Japan for sightseeing and land at the convention at the right moment... only not optimal detail is that...

I would say there’s no harm in trying to get Jedi Master tickets if you really want them. I myself am going to try and nab a couple. We’ll see how it goes. You can always fall back on regular tickets if you’re unable to get the Jedi Master (VIP) tickets.

As for where to buy them… they go on sale at 7pm EST on May 2nd on the official celebration site starwarscelebration.com. Jedi Master tickets are $993.25 while regular 3-Day tickets are $168.85. You can also buy tickets for individual days if you don’t intend to attend the whole convention.

It kinda sucks that former VIP tickets holders get a VIP pre sale so that means if you get them once then every year you can buy pre-sale so you continue getting them?
