I’ve just been back in and they say they have no merch at Will Call?

 

Sorry to hear that, I was only relaying what one of the help desk staff said - merch would be available for collection on Friday.
It looks like another ReedPop foul-up.

 

Hopefully this year there won’t be anything too juicy that is blacked out, like the early Ahsoka footage was in 2022. In any event, because of the time difference any news from these panels should be online by the time those of us in the US are waking up.

 

Isn't starwars.com streaming some of the panels?

I managed to arrive just before 8 to pick up my badge after a 5 hour plus drive to get here before will call closed! I asked about the lanyard and t-shirt I’d pre ordered but was told I would have to collect them from the store tomorrow. The person I spoke to wasn’t sure if they would let me go into the store to collect my pre orders or whether someone would bring them out. She said I’d just have to ask and if they won’t help ask for someone to register a complaint with!

 

I heard that lanyards were being given out upon arrival, is this true?

It's been cool seeing all the posts over the last few days on the Celebration Facebook group showing everybody arriving and as excited as can be.

 

I too wish everyone a memorable time! hope everybody got their badges, goodies they pre ordered and such, it is strange the pre-order merchandise isn't available when you check in the day before.

 

DLCV, thanks so much for the video! it's like I was there with you. there sure was a lot of room in the CEle. store, but then, there should be a lot of people in there when it officially opens up. Wow! you got a whole set of pins! lucky you! hope you got the panels you wanted! Hope I can get a VIP badge for the next Cele.Have fun!!

Now that Celebration is over, what was everyone's opinions/reactions/thoughts about London?

Sooo my badges arrived on Thursday to my home country, right before the event where I was already in London for 3 days.. They really dropped the ball on this one but overall it was a fun event!
Here's a quick video tour I took on Sunday from opening the first entry line to walking through almost empty show floor

 

I really enjoyed watching that video, it gave me a really good feel of the entry and booths. Were the people in the line with the roped borders to the left at the very beginning of the video waiting to be let in after your group was?

 

Chris- Fives, really appreciate your Cele. video, that was Sunday? wow, pretty empty. I now can see how big the con. center is. as I heard, lots of places to eat, and on Sun. lots of room to shop! I'm sure I would've had fun if I could've gone!

 

yes, they were letting us in first come, first serve - so basically who came earlier, got to enter first etc... thanks to that it was at least somehow organised

Yes, it was Sunday right before 10 AM when they let us in to the area..so yeah, it was a bit empty for the first hour.. but later on it gets really crowded

 

I've enjoyed watching the streams they have made available. The Look back on Kenobi was surprisingly emotional and I found the young actress who played Leia, Vivien Lyra Blair to be very composed and articulate for someone so young. Her chemistry, as displayed on the stage, with Ewan, was very natural. No wonder she got the part.

 

It seems like everyone enjoyed themselves!
