True, it takes, what, about a gallon of gas to get to MSC.

We'll go through about 8-10 tanks of gas to get to and from CIII. That's probably about $200 in gas to get 6 people there versus $1500 in airfare. And the way it looks right now, we're going to have to have a caravan to get there.

April wants to fly. I'm not very happy bout that. I don't feel that my fat arse should be off the ground that long. I'd rather just rent a car and drive. Get more vacation time, more vegg out time while driving, scary thought though. I wanted to go so bad last time was trying to get a group together but it just didn't work out. This time I don't have to worry about getting a group together!

Hey Lin that's C.W. McCall. Don't you southern boys know your country music? :)

Dale: Yep, you definitely won't have to worry about getting up a group of fans. I'm sure there will be even more of us by then.

Chuck: Shouldn't we be quoting Red Sovine, too?

Nice catch, Chuck. I'm somewhat of a musicologist, and I let that one slip by me. Quick!! Who starred in the made-for-TV movie based on the song? Anyone?

Close, Tim. It is a singer/songwriter. Extra points if you can name his love interest in the movie.

OK, that leaves me to guess Kris Kristofferson.

As for his love interest, was it a LOVE STORY? ;)

Way to go, Tim! You are da man! You win a replica of the infamous swan dress Bjork wore to the Oscars a few years back! My, won't that look nice with those multi-colored bowling shoes Saturday night!

    Was it a LOVE STORY?

Not really. Actually, I don't think there was much plot at all. By the way, the love interest was play by a young Shari Belafonte-Harper.

Hey, but it did have Ernest Borgnine, so it can't be that bad. You know, he can kill a bear with a pocketknife.

And it was directed by the guy who brought us that cinematic masterpiece-

Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia.

One of my brother's all-time favorites.

"Hey Lin that's C.W. McCall. Don't you southern boys know your country music?

I guess not, and I loved that song- when I was 10!

Do remember catching that movie at the drive-in off Third, that Spider-Mike got the crap beat out of him in the movie, and one of my favoite line, "I knew I shoulda got a black truck!"

That was back when trucker movies were big. Remeber 'Breaker-Breaker' with Chuck Norris, 'White Line Fever' with Jan Michael Vincent, and of course- 'Smokey and the Bandit'!

How could one forget Smokey and the Bandit?? I haven't seen that in years.

Somehow, though, I just had the biggest urge to watch Cannonball Run. Which, according to Sal, would be somewhat like our coming roadtrip to CIII.

As long as you don't wear the wig, Lin.

Better yet, we want you to be the doctor.

Excuse me for a moment. I have to make the van look like an ambulance.

Our's will be the only road trip video with outtakes, then.

    "It's a living!"

I'll have to do the "Pretending I'm about to punch your lights out" bit.

Have to make Traci and Rhonda some costumes. Gotta go to Hancock's and buy some zippers.

Have you thought about becoming a costume designer/maker? You could aim to put Trisha Biggar out of a job. ;)

I want to be a professional jack-of-all-trades. I want to be able to make a living doing everything from making costumes, to designing websites, to hooking up people's audio-visual electronics. Where do I apply for something like that? I mean, where do I go to become a professional little brother?

    Some good advice. Especially on getting tickets early and picking what you want to see. Looks like we'll spend Thursday getting tickets for stuff we want to see. I'll be in the autograph line for sure probably if a certain new sith lord is there! 8-}

Can't wait to see some of the videos, etc.

We get extra stuff for being Hyperspace and Insider subscribers? Suh-weet! :D
