Cleveland Force game

Hey now, I don't look funny in a costume...I'm a bad guy so I look like a BMF lol I just hope I dont trip on my cape or nothing whilst getting into the bleachers...

 

Uh..I'm seeing double here...just meant to post a measly little message and now it cloned itself somehow...my bad. Don't even ask how I pulled that off, I'm still trying to figure that out...

Force are MISL, Major Indoor Soccer League. Unless that's changed in the past few years. MLS is Major Leagu Soccer. That's outdoor and pretty lame since all the good players play in, well, anywhere but here in the states...

I don't know if the game is being televised... I doubt it (no jumbotron=no video crew) But I've been trying to get the sports guys from "Action News" to send a photographer to the home opener, and if they see a bunch a SW fans in the crowd...oops

Is anyone thinking of putting together sings? Bring lightsabers...if you want, they are giving away lightsabers to some of the first people in line.

Speaking of which, I need to pick up the tickets at will-call around 5pm. Should we meet in front of will-call around then. Those of you who still owe me $...please meet me there (you can pay for your tickets then)

Thanx Candii, now my hopes and dreams of being a serious mean Sith Lord are over... lol j/k Hey stupid idea coming on (dim, flickering lightbulb appears over head)...anyone bringing toy lightsabers? I know I have real saber hilts that Anrev made, but that just ain't cool. Maybe if we get some toy sabers, then we can saber fight to kill time and also get more attention from people and stuff...just a stupid thought.

Not directly, none of the local sports networks cover Cleveland soccer. However, with the re-named team, and home opener, don't be surprised if some of the local media come to the game. And wouldn't they love to see a bunch of SW fans in attendance. And look at that, we'll be sitting down low near the glass...isn't that a coincidence?

I just hope my friends act in line like I expect them to... I have a bad feeling about this...

 

I am so bringing my lightsabres. I just got two more on Monday, and I want to use them...

It's at the CSU Convocation Center. A couple blocks east from Jacob's field. Parking isn't too bad down there (being in the area of the Jac/Gund)

Random, I hope your friends won't cause any problems. If they do, we might have to ask them to leave. I don't want that to happen...so keep them in-line.

 

I'm picking up the tickets at will-call around 5:30pm. I suggest we meet there. Anyone who hasn't paid yet...you can settle with me (I had to pay for ALL the tickets on my credit card...ouch!)

Krash, no way to tell you for sure or not, but I might have another friend who's interested in coming...

I'll try and bring your number to the shoot, and call from Bret's phone and see what the deal is.

Where are we meeting? I have no clue... If anything else I'll try and be at Entrance A for simplicity sake. What is Will-call? I'll try looking for that to meet at first, if not just go to entrance A. All I have to say is after the shoot I got to come back to JCU to get my friends, so if this game doesn't start till 7:30, I might not be there at 5:30 when you're saying... even if we're done shooting then. Oh well, hope the Force will guide me and everything is ok. If all else fails the entire arena will here a page for Geoff Krickhan from security...

 

We have 12 seats reserved in the Tops' section ($10) general admission. It's right down by the field. I've got 1 free ticket.

 

For everyone who couldn't make it to the game...things went very well.

The seats were great, and my contact from the FORCE said that they'd love to have us back (and bring friends...C-bus?) I'm sure we'll have pictures soon.

Everyone who worked on ROP missed the start of the game, but it was cool. They even announced us as a group in attendance. The lightsabers they gave away were nice, but it was great to see so many kids lightsaber fighting outside before the game.

Hope everyone had a good time at the game, I would like to go back as often as possible!

I'm picking up my film from the game tommarrow...I'll bring the pictures to the next meeting.

Emily seems more comfortable with the fencing-style of the Dooku lightsaber (it's difficult to use it any other way)...maybe we've found the perfect lightsaber for her.
