I am not upset about Ron Howard. I think he will do a fine job with whatever is left...but, I would have liked to see what he would have done with the entire movie. Its a waste. Their directorial styles are a bit different, I think...

Edit: I would to see Howard be given an entire movie into himself--I think he would be another Irv Kirshner...

I think Howard is going to reshoot most of the film.

Also that this is not as unprecedented as the sensationalistic movie press makes it seem. As Dagger pointed out, this happens all the time and is usually a good thing. It's just that before the internet we never got word of the bts stuff.

Han Solo being cynical about a new Han Solo movie actually makes perfect sense when you think about it. He's been from one end of the galaxy to the other, and seen a lot of strange things....

 

Han Solo trailer in September (that's around 6 to 8 weeks, right? Sorry, I lost my ability to count long ago).
