WARNING: Language, and CGI Bear on coke I am so on board for this. Apologies if there's an existing thread.
Normally I'd say this is an example of a perfect movie trailer, an ideal tidbit of self-contained entertainment rendering whatever movie it's trying to sell completely belated and superfluous, yet It's key that not only is the bear supercharged on cocaine, but that he is already addicted and clearly wants nothing but more cocaine. He will shred anything that stands in the way of getting more coke.
It could be the greatest movie in film history or another "Snakes on a Plane" but either way I'm getting out to see it.
Cocaine Bear: Based on a True Story https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/01/arts/cocaine-bear-true-story.html long story short, some names have been changed to protect the innocent but otherwise it's 100% exactly true to life or should be.
My theater just put up the poster for this, everyone seems excited to see it. Not crazy about the design because it looks exactly like Sin City and The Spirit posters.
