I'll be down there on saturday. I'm really looking forward to meeting Carrie, but also some of the other stars from other shows. Topping that list are Richard Hatch (Apollo), Dirk Benedict (Face, Starbuck), Dwight Schultz (Murdoch, Lt. Reginald Barclay).

 

Im going as a Jedi (prequels) I just tried on the costume for the first time! It rocks! the whole thing cost £8.50 the robe was made from an old bed sheet, the tshirt/tunic was £4.50 (primark) and a belt £4 (primark)saber I all ready had. and Im having the braid done tomorow

 

Did everyone here who went have a good time?

I was stuck here in Bristol all weekend with freshers' flu (joy!) but I persuaded my mum to get me some stuff. Apparently she was mortally embarassed.

 

Had a brilliant time, still recovering from lack of sleep lol

It wasn't what it was supposed to be and one of the bars had to be shut due to the fact we drank the place dry....well I didn't I was good at the party I drank before and after it

The party was a good laugh especially watching all these 13 yr old girls throw themselves over the Harry Potter guests

I didn't see your uncle, and never heard of anyone being escorted out so I guess he behaved

And no Stacy wasn't there
Ones I saw were a star trek guy, Sala Baker, Royd Tolkien , All the HP guests, I heard Thomas Robbins was there but didn't see him

Oh I found my friend that day took me 30 mins but I did find her, you think she would stand out how she was dressed

Tell you one thing, going to this and then starting back at university is an interesting experience, especially trying to stay awake in class

If Stacy wasn't there then he would have been well behaved. Although unwisely his stall was opposite the Greenroom, so God knows what stories he will have to tell next time

We also saw you and your Rimmer friend outside KFC waiting for a taxi......she certainly stood out, hehe.

C6 was good, but the highlight of the show for me was seeing the new iMac on display.....it's even better then I thought

 

lol yeah she does, actually walking through that centre for her was not fun
I ended up glaring at the few people and scaring them off lol

Hey I like MK, even if it does look like the US
Have to admit didn't see all that much I was staying in the travel lodge across the road from the station and would leave at 7am go to the shopping centre be there all day and go out in the evening to the xcape centre. There was cool besides the fact I got IDed!

 

It was a good event, but Matt you really should get yourself a new mac, then you'd be able to stare at it all day long...

Purchased myself a Clone Wars Obi Wan figure, still havn't been able to lay my hands on the ever elusive Clone Trooper Unleashed though...

And yes J, your friend stuck out a mile! Good costume though.

Funny there were four of us in a room and me and her were the first up and she was just about ready to leave and one of the other girls woke up seeing her dressed like that. Nice image to wake up to

She came third in the costume comp, she should have won really

 

Princess_Liar - I quite enjoy my twice yearly trip to MK. It's a very unique place for the UK, it's like another world
The cinema at the Xcape is also very nice

Personally I feel that the merchandise side of Collectormania has gone down hill, but maybe that's because I couldn't get my Batman figure

I quite liked the Puss in Boots costume that was doing the rounds, but other then that and Rimmer I didn't see too many this time.

As for C7, too early to say. The main factor is that it's a week after Celebration III, so I may be in no state to attend. But for now I am planing on going but it could be a late call like this time. If they get some Sliders guests then there is no question

 

Puss in boots was good I got her business card because she makes costumes

I don't think I am going to go C3 now, it's going to be ALOT of money for like 3 days and really is it worth it?

 

Lord-Tice - Yes, the Cineworld in the Xscape building is probably my favourite thing in the whole town. It's so much nicer than The Point, which is another cinema just round the corner and has recently been turned into easyCinema with the help of some orange paint. Not one of Stelios' better ideas.
