Darth Maul vs. Exar Kun

Kun, all he has to do is control Maul with the force...on second thought he might not be able to. Still Kun, bloody revived the sith. when he made his seconed bide for power, he summoned a bunch of flying monsters from no where. (where did those come from by the way?). he seduced to give controel to anger. Then went about trying to kill luke, and almost did if not for Corran's little trick.

 

He also killed two of the Order's greatest: Anoon Bondara and Qui-Gon Jinn. He wiped out Black Sun, killing a Dathomiri force witch in the process and killing an entire mecenary army. Kun's exploits as a dark side novice and near galactic conqueror not withstanding, Maul would win after a battle worthy of film.

 

Who wiped out the Black Sun? I thought the Black Sun was destroyed in Shadows of the Empire.

Well lets see, Dathomiri whitch in many ways= a mid lvl padawan. With a few diffrences none i can remeber. sad huh?

Any way, do you think it would be beyond Kun to kill an entire army?

side question, does anyone know if there are some really fun things to do with solarflares? I ask because, i remeber Brakiss messed with them in the Shadow Academy. (YJK books)

 

Xizor's Black Sun was destroyed in Shadow of the Empire. According to Star Wars: Darth Maul and Star Wars Encyclopedia, and i quote, "Just before the Battle of Naboo, Black Sun was based on the planet Ralltiir, under the control of Alexi Garyn. It was Garyn who made a bid to purchase information from Hath Monchar on the Trade Federation's plans to develop droid armies for a possible invasion. Darth Sidious, fearing that the information might reach the Galactic Senate, ordered Darth Maul to hunt down Monchar and eliminate any Black Sun member he had contacted. For the Black Sun organization, this meant that Darth Maul executed Garyn and most of his vigos. The loss of so many leaders threw the organization into chaos, and the widespread agents of Black Sun foundered until a young Falleen named Xizor took control."

A Dathomiri force witch whose powers were great enough for the galaxy's most powerful crime boss, and faliled Jedi, i might add, to chose her to guard him.


Perhaps Kun could destroy an army, but single-handedly?

 

Why not, he had hundreds of temples on Yavin that increased his powers, at least i think thats what they did. He had more knowldge of sith teaching than almost any other sith after him, including Sidious i believe. God i need to read those starwars comics.

 

You should enjoy Star Wars: Darth Maul. The only memorabilia that i buy are the comics and books, so i would definitely recommend it.

 

Have you read Terry Brook's The Phatom Menenace? it is told mainly from Maul's veiw, really intresting.

Solidus...nice information, but yes, Maul would still lose to Kun. Why don't you start studying up on Exar now and then choose to compare them.

No, actually i haven't read it. Which is strange considering my humble collection.

I still have 31 minutes left to edit this, so i'll add that again in Star Wars: Darth Maul, Maul shows some of the classic Sith tricks: force chock, deflection of force lightning, reaching into the mind of an telepathic Iktochi and, i don't know, but he freaks out, has blood run from his nose, and then he dies.

 

Maul ultimately died cause of a cheap shot.
And we never saw him do anything but saber fight.
I'm bettin he had some other tricks too.

But Kun was too powerful.

Kun would barely beat Maul.

 

yes kun wud be my first instinct but...www.jedimassacre.com(a website that seems to know everything)has darth maul being more powerful then exar kun on the all time most powerful sith lords list...unless that lists bogus and that websites unreliable so sumone plz tell me if it is or not(also check out the all time most powerful jedi list and tell me if its reliable)

 

JediMassacre seems to be the same as Supershadow, which is derided as rubbish all around.

Any list would be fan made in any case, making it no more valid than anyone's opinion here.

I'm gonna have to go with Exar Kun here, in overall force power. Maul seems to be the best single hand combat fighter, being he fought like 30 guys at once and killed them, than another 10 or so, and then a force witch. But i would have to say Kun is stronger in the Force/ He's the only spirit we've seen that could still hurt someone or something in that form. He melted the Jedi holocron, fried Gantaros, and channeled his force power through Kyp. That's not even going into what he did during the sith war. He harnessed the force power of thousands of Masassi natives to preserve his spirit in the Yavin 4 temple.
