Yes been slowly catching up on comics

After this mission Pryde is probably very happy to return on Endor and to making coat from Ewoks.

Amedda starts to lose his ***, maybe he will reduce to his state during Aftermath even before the events of RotJ.

You know, the dark droids storyline didn't do much for me, but seeing a return of Sly Moore´s machinations sounds far more interesting.

Amedda being physically punished by the Emperor was unexpected to me! In Legends, Pestage was seen as close to him, or at least as close as a man like Palpatine can be to having a friend. In this series, we ´ve seen Amedda even ridiculed by his devotion; him and Moore are clearly next to nothing to Sidious at this point.

Well, Pestage in Legends knew Palpatine's Sith identity long before TPM. Amedda does not seem to serve Sidious for so long.

Exactly. I would like to see more of Pestage, Ars Dangor and that bunch in the comic. We've only seen Amedda and Moore, but it's always great to see how Vader navigated the political waters of Coruscant.

 

I really think Amedda needs his own book at this point

What I really like about the comics is how Mas Amedda and Sly Moore are highlighted. In legends, they were mostly sidelined, especially Moore.

 

Sounds like Vol 10 will the end of this Darth Vader comic line.

 

Do you mean the end of the Vader line?

I was really enjoying this run during the handmaiden saga, but Dark Droids really tanked my interest in this story and

not really interested in yet another Vader vs Palps power play this close to Return of the Jedi so I am glad that this is ending.

How does an armoured, 6" 6' cape-wearing, helmeted individual, with a personal life support system built into it go undercover?

Simple. He puts on one of those glasses with a rubber nose and mustache. They'll never suspect a thing.

 

I don’t think this is going to end in the current arc even if I wish they would move on.
