Challenge December Review Race 2024 -- Inspire an Author; Earn Colors -- Well Done, Reviewers!

And I'm happy to share another review towards my total with The Book of Gand, Part Four by @Findswoman.

 

Thanks to some awesome early responses to the OTP challenge and a bit more free time, I’m now up to my goal of 40:

While this accomplishes my goal, I am hopeful I can get a few more before the month is out, so we shall see!

With that, the index has been updated! Do we have any last minute reviews coming in, to help close this year out in style?


As for me, the last two reviews I have to report are:

• Triumphs and Kaz-tastrophes by @Raissa Baiard
• Requiem (from Certain Dark Things) by @vader_incarnate

That brings me up to 36 reviews out of a goal of 40! I have drafts started on my last four reviews, but they are long ones, and I don't think that I will be able to finish any tonight - especially since I don't want to rush them, just for sake of finishing the challenge. But I am darn proud of the reviews I have left, and very grateful for this challenge for getting me back in the reviewing spirit. It's one I intend to keep going throughout 2025!

We write, first and foremost, for ourselves, but the connection between reader and writer is nonetheless a symbiont one, and we all thrive on encouragement as storytellers. So: don't stop letting authors know that you enjoy their stories. Spread the joy that you feel whenever you receive an encouraging review! Keep widening out with your reading, and give new authors and stories a try! In short: continue to be the reviewer that you want to have reading your own stories, and we will see you back here next December! ​
