Amph Doctor Who Discussion (Russell T. Davies returns)

I have no idea what the content of the episodes will be, but the trailer uses the exact same style (even the exact same music) as 95% of all other action/adventure trailers made in the past ten or so years. I'd have preferred something that differs from the crowd.

Neil Patrick Harris is playing The Celestial Toymaker, BBC should try to have at least tele snaps of the missing episodes of the Toymaker serial, even if they're no longer doing animated reconstructions.

 

I think it's RTD doing what he was doing previously, bringing back the same characters over and over because he can't move on.

 

And hopefully his words before regenerating will be, "I'm ready to go."

 

I love reading this thread, but I don't post so much due to being clueless in current events as I'm only at Capaldi's second season by now.

That new trailer was fun to watch. Hopefully one day I'll catch up.

Also been watching more classic who which is always fun.

Might rewatch a couple Christmas specials. Merry Christmas!

I also really like that the Doctor revisiting some of his former selves has already been set up by the Curator.

 

Just rewatched the Teaser Trailer again, looks great, very dramatic.

And I agree with the last line spoken as it relates to knowing what is happening lol.

Colin Baker.

2. Least favorite Doctor?
Capaldi and Whittaker tie by default due to lack of exposure.

Frobisher.

Of the ones I’ve actually seen, Grace Holloway. I mean she straight up killed the Seventh Doctor and then she was so goddamn bland. Paul McGann deserved better item #1569.

The Valeyard.

6. Least favorite enemy?
Michael Grade, amirite?

7. Favorite story?
“The Five Doctors” was my introduction to Classic Who after I had seen the first couple of seasons from the revival, and that’s the moment I went from “this show is pretty cool” to “Oh my God there’s decades of this beautiful cheese.” Thanks to ripping the DVD I had rented from the library it’s by far the episode I’ve watched the most.

8. Least favorite story?
You know, I might have to commit the ultimate sin here and say “An Unearthly Child/The Cavemen.” No wonder the show almost got ****canned after four episodes, most of that is dire.
