Brain fart..Scarlett Nexus is Bandai Nam not Capcom so hopefully they show something even though it’s really close to release.

 

No Switch Pro, huh? I was looking forward to trying to decide whether to get one and the decision being made for me when I can't find anything in stock for a year.

 

Patrick Klepek was on Nextlander's stream and said everything he had heard suggested it's more like a New Nintendo 3DS vs 3DS upgrade than anything terribly drastic. That's maybe the only assessment I've heard of the alleged thing that I trust at this point.

 

Starting to wonder if this will be a Twilight Princess situation where they just actually ending end up releasing their next console and BOTW2 comes out on both Switch and the new one.

 

I just want any new console to be on par with XB and PS. I really miss the Game Cube days.

 

I think the days of Nintendo consoles having competitive hardware specs are over. For better or worse, the Wii taught them that it isn't necessary to chase Microsoft and Sony. The Switch just confirmed it.

And I'm fine with that as long as they make fun games to play. Metroid Dread probably could have been made for the 3DS, but it looks on the Switch and I'll definitely be buying it and BOTW2 of course.

 

Switch Pro? Metroid Prime 4? They're in an unmarked grave with Bayonetta 2.

lol Imagine if Nintendo released what is essentially a new console in the midst of the pandemic; we're barely out of it and some people think they'll unveil and release it in 2021?

I mean, I'm not trying to rag on anyone that's under that impression, but I just find it... Well, pretty unlikely.

 

Hasn't stopped GPU manufacturers from announcing new cards.

 

No doubt most likely. Would sure love a fellow hitter with the unique controller greatness they bring now though.

Never played any of the Metroid titles before, but I absolutely love the look of Metroid: Dread. Very Alien: Isolation inspired, in a sense, with the unkillable enemies that have to be avoided.

If Nintendo stopped being dumb and released a complete Metroid collection, along the lines of what Halo: The Master Chief Collection is for the Halo franchise, I'd probably go out and actually get a Switch.

 

Frankly, I'm content enough as it is with my Steam library, but tbh, I think the Switch has enough reasons to get it, though if I had to choose between, say, a new "Switch Pro" (or whatever it'll be called) or a PS5, I'd get a PS5.

 

I ll have to look up Bandai tomorrow. I only saw one game and then my stream got all wacky I think and placed me on something else with just a lot of talking heads. Unless they only had one game for their bit?
