ST Ewoks in Ep IX.......?

Ewoks are one of the reasons RotJ is #1 on my SW films list. They would be awesome to see again.

 

There could be an entire Endor saga between the events of ROTJ and TROS. Since the wreckage in the trailer is too small to be DSII's dish, I think it's the remnants of something built by the Dulok Empire with the help of their Gorax allies to battle against the Ewoks and Yuzzums. There might still be a war taking place on the forest moon when our heroes arrive.
Since Threepio was built by Anakin, does that mean Threepio's last name is Skywalker? Is Threepio the Skywalker that will rise, just as he did in ROTJ? Is Threepio the other Skywalker that Yoda spoke of?
I want to see Ewoks flying a modern take on their combat glider, with TIE technology, but keeping that classic butterfly wing shape. There could also be catapults launching huge thermal detonators.... like this one:

I don't know, I'm on the fence about them. if they were to be there, I would be like, OK...if they were there to further the plot line, that would be better. If the didn't show up, don't think I would really miss them.

Now if their moon was ruined because the rebels didn't clean up after themselves (blowing up a moon sized battle station in orbit for example) I'd expect the locals to be a mite annoyed at the very least!

Which was why I was hoping that was on Yavin IV as there isn't an indigent population to worry about right?

Hey Kylo ever heard the story of the Sith who wiped out an entire slave race so he could survive as a spirit trapped in that temple....

 

There's an entire generation uninitiated to the joys of purchasing and cuddling Space Teddy Bears, so yes I believe if the TROS plot takes us to Endor, then we will see some Ewoks on screen.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing the Ewoks back as long as they don't make them look too good. No CGI, no animatronics, just people in suits thank you.

What I've wanted to see since the sequels were announced, is an Ewok X-wing Pilot.

The Ewoks are intelligent enough to learn technology. And I'd love to see that some ventured off-world following their encounters with the Rebels.

Just picture it: an Ewok in his little orange jumpsuit, and custom helmet, screeching his warcry-
"AAYYYIIIIIIYAAAAA!!!!!"
as his fighter blasts and swoops through an exploding TIE fighter.

The audience would go nuts!

 

That might be a bit much, and an X-Wing pilot with a booster seat surely isn't regulation. That's something we might see in a comic, but would they do that in a movie? I honestly think after the invasion of the Empire, the Ewoks likely rejected technology. I could see them gathering the remnants of war and dropping it to the bottom of the ocean.

 

What if Wookies and Ewoks crossbreeded? You could have some really HUGE Ewok's and some TINY Wookies (who could still tear your fingers off).

 

Godzilla vs Gorax would be nice.

 

I'm still waiting to see Darth Archimage who is actually three Ewoks standing on each other's shoulders.

When are we getting the Porgs' spin off cartoon and made-for-tv-movies!

3. Flying toasters.

4. A William Shatner cameo.

5. Wilhelm scream.

6. As Chewbacca begins to rip off Stormtrooper arms, subtitles saying, ‘This is where the fun begins’!

7. Ren on Tatooine, ‘I hate sand’!

8. Luke and Palpatine having a Yo Mama contest.

9. Just before Ren tossing Palpatine to his death, Palpatine says, ‘I’ve got a bad feeling about this’!

10. Custodial engineer, ‘What are they doing up there’?

 

Helped to defeat the empire but the rebels didn’t help to clean up. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Ewoks are pissed and want to cook and eat Rey ,Poe and Finn.

 

Don't forget, during Battle for Endor Wicket was speaking English, so I expect to see nothing less than a tribe of fully articulate Ewoks.

 

I know I'm in the minority but I'm a big fan of the Ewoks and I would love to see them in Ep 9. Of course, one of my earliest memories in life was seeing Return of the Jedi in the theaters back in '83 (I was 4) and remember seeing the Ewok movies on TV as a kid. So I know part of my love for them is due to nostalgia, but I still want to see more Ewoks dang it!

 

I bet my last buck that we'll get a descendant of Wicket going full Rambo....bandera...stormtrooper finger necklace..twin imperial blasters, shooting thousands of rounds into the air from the hip.....and snarling 'ÑUB ÑUUUUUB!!!!'.....can't wait!

 

I wouldn't mind a shot of Ewoks as a ship flies over them.

 

I wouldn't mind Ewoks feasting on Kylo Ren.

 

Psh, good luck Wicket. If grandpa's not above slaying children, grandson's not gonna have qualms slicin'-and-dicin' teddybears.
