Beyond - Legends Eyes Blue, Spirit True-NJOish Anakin poem

Summary: Ballad dedicated to our favorite hero.
A/N: My library has only half of the JJK series and the local bookstore even less, so expect the characterization to be very NJO-oriented. Be warned that this is the result of leaving me in the back of a car with a laptop on Memorial Day weekend (we used the time to visit a friend from another state).

Eyes blue
Spirit true
Brightly burning
Lives he?s saving

Soul tossed
Life lost
Body burnt
Honor earned

Rising star
Hero of war
Damage taken

He undid despite age

And the Massassi became free soon

Thus he completed the redemption
That Qel-Droma envisioned
When his saber?s condition he realized
The warrior, with lambent, improvised

Soul tossed

Body burnt
Honor earned

A Solo he was
In life and death, alas
Discovery he began
But its spread had no chance

For, because of a fateful mission
Discovery was forced into omission
The connection discovered sometime before
Could give no detail until he was no more

Rising star
Hero of war
Damage taken
Cells are baking

Mature for his age
He never allowed for rage
With mind sharp and hands adept
Repairing the druids he kept

Strong in the Force
And walked through Jedi doors
The star trained hard
And deserved often an award

Riina he helped keep back
He should have lived to see Ebaq

Made friends with Vua Rapuung
And a lambent he helped to prune
Because he helped his best friend
She cherished him to no end

Made sure justice was done
When he helped oust the Black Sun
For galactic safety
Helska he destroyed with cold and then heat

He had a heart of gold
Certainly his friends have told
To help ward off his home?s invasion
He rose beyond expectations

When dovin basals with their black holes came
The triple shot spread his fame
Counterpart of Jacen
The complement adjacent

His mother gave him the Chosen?s name
And he knew the responsibility that came
Even though nightmares he had
He never doubted his act

Hero of war

In his teenage years
He swallowed back his fears
The Force was his tool
And those who fought him were often fool

Described as reckless
And always a genius
Tortured and given high doses of pain
But from his eyes he withheld his rain

He lived only to seventeen
But smallness, let that not mean
For he was brave
Even strangers he died to save

His spirit was stubborn
As shown by his numerous returns
In a historic moment Tahiri he kissed
So forever, him she missed

Very powerful. It really described Anakin's will and spirit. I loved it. My favorite character is Anakin and I love poetry so this was a good match. Great job, Sil.
