Ahsoka Ezra Bridger (spoilers)

Ezra looked...better than Ezra.

 

Ezra who? Miller?

 

And...I'm not too proud to have said it.

 

Really liked what little we saw of Esfandi's portrayal here, instantly felt like the Ezra we know, just older.

 

Seeing Ezra Bridger again was great. He is just as good and warm as before.

 

It will be interesting what they do with Ezra now to explain away his absence from the ST. Of course that is still about twenty five years into the future from where they are now (Rey still isn't even born yet at this point in the timeline) and they very well may have him die sometime during these Filoni productions taking place now.

 

I think Ezra will be around during the Sequels just like Ahsoka being around OT and now post ROTJ. Ezra still young and doubt we get any time jumps, we still 9 ABY.

 

Ezra would be 53 by TFA. Ahsoka only 70 and Sabine only 55.

 

Both still as old Kenobi in ANH who was supposed to survive. And by Rey's movie only 15 years older.

 

I still think it’s unlikely that any of them appear in the Rey movie, but that’s just me

 

Likely not considering the Rey movie will probably come before the Filoni movie anyways.

 

That as well. Perhaps if it’s a trilogy. (Which I think solely depends on how well it does at the box office)

 

Not in movie but could appear in era as the elders of the Jedi Order and could appear in future movies.

 

I think they cast Ezra very well. Obviously next week's episode one would assume will judge what he's become. Surely moving around with a bunch of oversized hermit crabs in AirStream's isn't enough to avoid Thrawn's forces (though diminished). I would hope that we'll see how "powerful" of a Jedi he's now become.

I’m loving the Jedi-level confidence that Eman Esfandi brings to the screen, particularly because it is eerily reminiscent of Hayden’s which we saw last episode. I wonder if Ahsoka will see a haunting shadow in him at some point, we don’t know what he’s done to survive or what he’ll be willing to do now . . .

 

Thinking of a great, dumb Norm MacDoald joke now.

 

With beard and those clothes he looks a lot like any character from the Old Testament. Well he has jewish name too.

 

“Sabine, how did you find me?”

“I sold out the Galaxy to people looking for Thrawn.”

“CRAP!!”

 

That's exactly what came across my mind when he appeared onscreen. 'It's Jesus'. Ezra went from being Aladdin to Jesus.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. If he makes it back to Lothal, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryder mentions his likeness to Ephraim.
...or maybe Thrawn will, to taunt him.
