Ahsoka Ezra Bridger (spoilers)

He felt ripped straight from Rebels for me. The pause where him and Sabine just giggle and smile before finally embracing.......warms the soul. What a great episode!

Yes, and I see that they gave him some bluish highlights in his hair plus neon blue contacts, or maybe just CGI.

 

"You know how you've been living in exile for years after you stopped Thrawn? Well I just gave him a chance to leave. My bad!"

 

It's a good thing Sabine and Ezra are just friends because when he realizes that she undid his years long sacrifice, he wouldn't want to have anything to do with her!

 

Don't be surprised if they become more than friends over the course of this story. Perhaps not in this season but in future material it very well could happen.

 

One would think that this scenario would set up a massive rift, possibly even a falling out between Ezra and Sabine but I'm betting not much is made of it.

 

There are more questions to be answered. If Ezra ever had the opportunity to kill Thrawn during their exile for example. If that's the case then they both share the blame. Although i'm going to repeat something I said earlier - there's no guarantee that the Nightsister Starmap was the one and only way Thrawn was returning from his exile. Ahsoka traveling via Purgil is proof of this. I think that's going to be Ezra's view when he eventually learns of the circumstances.
Of course though, he will be mightily ticked off if Baylan, Shin and Co. show up and massacre his shelled friends.

Didn't Sabine's lightsaber originally belong to Ezra? If so, will she give it back to him? Admittedly I know little about the character but it's my understanding that he's basically a Jedi, i.e. more skilled with the Force than Sabine so it seems like it would make more sense for Sabine to hand over her lightsaber to Ezra when Baylan and Shin eventually show up.

EDIT: Also, when it comes to lightsaber skills there's no way that Sabine is...better than Ezra!

 

Yes its his and he is as good Luke if not better as he was jedi longer.

 

Well, at least he was very skilled with the lightsaber - and a powerful Jedi - but he may not have practiced for years.
I hope he has, though... but it's possible that Sabine's gonna have to do the sword fighting while Ezra does the Force thing. So they complement each other.

Ezra no longer has any need for a lightsaber!

 

I am still hoping that Ezra has Kanan's lightsaber.

 

I doubt Pryce manage to send it to Thrawn

Ezra has a new Force ability, he won't need a lightsaber. He's going to be like a cross between some sort of galactic Tarzan and Doctor Doolittle.

 

If this can happen...


Then Pryce could have gotten Kanan's lightsaber to Thrawn.

 

Didn’t Pryce show the light sabre to Thrawn? What happened to it then? I don’t remember.

 

Not shown onscreen....however I have no problem with "somehow Pryce gave Kanan's Lightsaber to Thrawn".

Someone mentioned that Ezra, living on the Nightsister planet for five years, may have picked up some magic of his own.

That could be pretty cool, IMO. Maybe he doesn't need a saber anymore because he can make his own from the Force itself.

And while I don't think this will be true, for a moment I pondered whether or not Ezra could be the powerful force that Baylan is looking for. Maybe Ezra has become one with another being.

Doubtful, but I can't help but wonder.

 

Shin-Sabine-Ezra love triangle incoming? Someone did point out on the Shin thread that she seems to be developing some kind of feeling toward Sabine...

 

I could see him exploring the Force on his own since he has been gone...but picking up a bunch of Nightsister Mojo might be a little too much.

 

He’d be the first male to actually use Magik. Not even maul has done it. So far we have only ever seen females use it.
